It’s settled! I’m going to Italy.You guys got nothing. I drove 500kms into Italy last week and did a few daytours and man they speed. The Autostrada has a 110kms limit and Im overtaking at around 120. Cars continually come from nowhere and sit so close to my rear end they must be 30cms off my bumper. I would move over as soon as I had overtaken the slower car and they fly by me gesturing manically. I was barely in the lane for 60 seconds. Other times they would fly past at what must be 160+
Mad campaigners!!!

On multi-lane roads if the speed limit is 90km/h or more you must drive in the left lane.
Once again...
On single lane roads you must drive as far to the left as practical (except motorcyclists). On multi-lane roads if the speed limit is 90km/h or more you must drive in the left lane. This same rule applies to any road where there is a ‘keep left unless overtaking’ sign. On these roads you can only drive in the right hand lane if:
We don't have 4 and 5 lane roads for everyone to sit in the left lane at all times. That is literally not how they are designed to work.
- you’re turning right or making a U-turn;
- you’re overtaking;
- the left lane is a special purpose lane, e.g. bus lane, bicycle lane, slow vehicle turnout lane;
- the left lane is a turning lane and you are going straight ahead;
- you’re avoiding an obstruction;
- you’re not driving a vehicle of a type that is prohibited from the right lane by way of signs (i.e. trucks);
- the other lanes are congested with traffic.
That seems high. Were they 4wd tyres?i had to get tyres last year and only spent about $350 a corner, and they were decent tyres
Dare you to go buy a set of Bob Jane all-rounders.Decent tyres are looking at 500+, so yeah, it can be very hard for some people.
Majority of the others in here scream ‘wont somebody think of the children’ but I guarantee they’ll be driving along stuck behind some slow campaigner thinking ‘move you slow campaigner! Get into the left lane!’. .. or maybe that’s just meI guess at least RU_ has admitted he’s a campaigner.

But I’m the bad guy because I’ll admit to it.![]()
You sound like a road rager tbh. You need to relax and just do the speed limit like normal, law abiding people.You forgot the bullet point giving an exemption to the 'keep left unless overtaking' law if:
Sarcasm font off. No wonder Perth drivers get a bad rap.
- you're cruising in the right lane, forcing other drivers into dangerous undertaking maneuvers, just because... like... I'm doing the speed limit so... too bad... go around me campaigner...
Who says you need a 4x4:Oh for those of you with 4x4’s if you don’t want to wait to do a u-turn at a set of light you don’t have to.. just chuck a u-turn over the island. That’s always a good one.![]()
I’ve been known to come out of Castile crescent a number of times the wrong way because I always get confused by which way I’m meant to be going, and typically have to chuck a u turn over the middle island around the blue 94 marker. It’s usually late at night leaving a mates house and there’s not a car in sight. Wouldnt even attempt it if I saw a car anywhere.Who says you need a 4x4:

That patch of dead grass is where people who can't be arsed waiting in the turning lane go over even though that side doesn't get a long light at all.
I've seen the police a few times waiting to pick someone up doing it.
