Where would Short fit into our side?

Off half back. If we ever get the full compliment available and he’s in the mix I’d move Maynard further afield and the flow on effect of that is Steele and Treloar spend more time forward. Whilst our forward group is performing I think if we could find another ground level accumulator that you can lock in for 20 ppg within 75 of goal we’re set.

One point I want to stress though is that I only mentioned Short as a quick example. You could just as easily sub him for Fiorini or Bolton or Dale who could also add something.

If Moore helps us land Lynch, you'll take that I think. Money pencilled in for him goes toward Lynch, more money for de Goey and young studs after we shake off some flotsam at years end.

The whole Moore scenario is an “it is what it is” one. He doesn’t deserve good money, but he’ll get it. He doesn’t deserve a high trade cost should he leave, but we’ll get it. That’s the industry. One question though what was your opinion of Schache this time last year?..

This time last year was high.

By the time he got traded it was low (though im disappointed we didnt look at offering any more than the Bulldogs did to get him - but thats without the actual knowledge of what the actual concerns were). But it appeared that most clubs had been scared off and took themselves out of the market (us included) and Brisbane were desperate to move him out (probably for his own sake) and it has been generally speculated the reason for those concerns. (Again, similar to why after his year "off" Cam McCarthys value for GWS plummeted)

Even with his injuries - Darcy is far off being at the point of either of those guys where we would be actively trying to move him.

Nope not whole Bucks is a Collingwood regarding Beams.

That’s a shocking trade for Sydney. At least be somewhat realistic.

If Lloyd is gonna walk anyway they won't be getting market value for him.

Happy to throw a player at a deal or bring another team in and trade a player for a pick (maybe Langdon?) that we can on-trade to Sydney if needs be, but we should be busting their balls if they want Moore as there's no way he gets to them in the PSD - exactly like how they did with us and Murray last year.

I still don't think he (Moore) is going anywhere but, at least we have a bloke running the show who doesn't have his head completely up his arse so there's some hope we might actually do well if a trade were to happen.

What ever happened to 2 Metre Peter Wright?
It seems like he's fallen out of favour at the Suns. He's not even performing in the reserves.
It wasn't that long ago he was on the lips of many fans, commentators.
I wonder if he wants to come home?
Given our lack of future KPP, and penetrating kicks, I think we should be at least asking the question.
