Crows are broken. Dogs are broken. Back to back 2nd rounders at this rate - picks 23 & 24.

Don Pyke looks like he’s tried to get too clever and it’s ruined them. That and injuries.

Yep. After witnessing today first hand my season is now down to barracking for teams playing Adelaide and western bullies. We already have pick 1 stitched up. 23 & 34 would be icing on the cake..

Does anyone remember young Stanlakes old man having a run at the Bulldogs back in the day?
Must admit I don't remember him, but as per The Encyclopedia of AFL Footballers: 1 game, 0 goals, 189cm (Billy must have got his height from somewhere else), 87kg, recruited from Lavington. I note that Billy was born in Hervey Bay & played junior football for the Hervey Bay Bombers (Boo!!!). Family subsequently moved to the Gold Coast & Billy attended The Southport School (Posh bugger).

Thus ends tonight's history lesson.

Do not be surprised if the second half by the Suns happens in other games this year.

There was a rumor going around earlier in the week that for the AFL to give the Suns a first round priority pick they'd need to lose out. This way they could point to Gold Coast winning 3 of their first 5 and then not winning another game for the rest of the year.

If the Saints win another game they'll finish above them. Then they just need Carlton and Brisbane to snag a couple of wins. Both teams play the Suns so there's half of their job done.

Cheese eating surrrender monkeys rancing all over the field.
Rolled that one out last night, had to explain to Mrs Jabba and Jabba jnr what it meant.

Found a clip of Groundskeeper Willie on YouTube and we all had a good laugh
