Honestly, probably not. He is better than what we have and world class keepers are extremely rare these days. It is a sellers market at the moment so we have to stump up the cash if we want quality.

Wow it really seems like Alisson is happening, already talk of Chelsea targeting others and Pearce and co confirming that we are in talks and not that far apart. Really had resigned myself to the fact we weren’t going to see a new keeper.

Alisson and Fekir and we are genuine contenders imo, and it would be easily the best window I can remember.

Not really considering at the time both clubs thought it was a fair price and some in the media thought we overpaid for him. Nobody could predict he would have the season he had. In hindsight we should have paid at least double what we did but hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Yeah, if he isnt going to breakthrough now, he never will. He doesnt need another loan. He did really well with Hull. He's ready to contribute but obviously Klopp doesnt have him in his plans. There is plenty of interest in him though so I thought a sale would be more likely. Bit strange. Shame for Wilson as he cant do much more than he has done to force his way in.
