Suns need a couple of early picks for lynch they have been getting r*ped. I kind of feel sorry for them. Not Carlton though..they should get nothing.
Don't feel sorry for the Suns, it has been a failed experiment that has been tried many time by many sports in the Gold Coast.

Miami is a good analogy, but San Diego might be better. The Chargers are gone; and the Padres struggle. It should be Australia's equivalent of Miami, but it might as well be Anchorage.
Nah, players have plenty of power already. Clubs should be able to know early if a player is going to stay or go.
No, RFA is only match the offer. The player can still walk into the draft. Which with 10 Vic sides makes it a fairly hollow threat for Vic players wanting home. There’s always going to be Vic clubs near the bottom of the ladder that’ll jump on them, even if the player has said they want to go to another Vic club.At some point a club will surely dig their heels in and match an offer on a RFA and make them stay for the contract period....isn’t the whole idea of RFA is that you can do that?
A player might not like it but they can’t do anything about it. The obvious response is for the player to “no show” but I’m assuming they can be fined their salary for not showing up. They’ll show up pretty quickly...
Front page of The Advertiser is mostly The Big Texan. The AFC propaganda machine in full swing. Now in the headline article on the Advertiser website. Oh the PR machine....
Ankara would probably be more appealing. It should be Australia's equivalent of Miami, but it might as well be Anchorage.

The Chargers moving to LA was a huge mistake. Virtually nobody in LA likes them. They play at by far the smallest venue in the NFL: Stubhub Center, LA Galaxy's stadium, which only holds 27k and they don't even sell that out, we're talking Port Adelaide circa 2012 attendance numbers for a f**king NFL team! Not in Adelaide, but Los Angeles. They should've never left San Diego.Miami is a good analogy, but San Diego might be better. The Chargers are gone; and the Padres struggle.
who were around when regularly the only game on sunday tv was the Brisbane bears playing at Carrara.Have both the Kings playing together, becoming free agents together and leaving the club together... not saying it will happen but...No, RFA is only match the offer. This is why, although GC is a shit show, I’d rather them in the competition then skew the balance of Vics to non-Vic sides further.
They aren’t the 2nd and 3rd best players, but if I was Drafting for GC I’d be tempted to take the pick 3 compo and grab both the King twins. Get them playing together, built in anti-homesickness and having played together at the highest level a good chance they won’t want to split up to go to different clubs, by bailing out.
The investment in the ground alone means it will be a lot longer than it should be.Seriously though. How long do we think the suns will last? I think the AFL will keep them around.

AFL well and truly in for the long haul with the Suns. They'll come good for some finals action before too long and start building more of a following.Seriously though. How long do we think the suns will last? I think the AFL will keep them around.
I reckon it’s more like Vegas. Relatively young party town with a partially transient population.
im pretty over this 'richmond being good' phase
can we go back to them being shit for the next 35 years please?
