There still hasn't been an Eagles fan who has addressed why Gaff sprints off after "accidentally" clobbering a bloke in the head. He didn't give two ****s about it and went on with his business.

All the water works on the bench would be more due to the realization that he is missing the entire finals series.

I'll give it a go.

IMO, it will be more like 6 to 8 weeks, AFL will make an example of Gaff this type of behaviour can't be tolerated.

So you're saying that Gaff's first instinct after hitting a bloke in the head hard enough to break their jaw and displace 4 teeth is to run off to the interchange rather than check on the bloke he has accidentally knocked to the ground?

Brayshaw moved as he swung. I guess that's the risk you take when you throw a fist but doubt he was aiming for the head

AFL needs to ban all punches, be it on any part of the body

To be honest I don't mind jonson get a week like May . If everybody know about his hit on GAff , everybody should know about GAff on Brayshaw .

Your forgetting Gaff’s was off the ball, massive difference when at the game with no replays.
Easily can go unseen when people are looking in the direction of the ball.

My guess is we'll successfully argue down from 'intentional' to 'careless' as I honestly believe he was going for a shoulder/chest whack as opposed to a head hit and they will also factor in Gaff's non existent record. I'm thinking 6 weeks so he wont play finals this year. 5 weeks a small chance also. Could be a chance for a grand final however without Gaff I doubt we'd make it past a prelim.

Flog. If you don’t know where to look in the footage you’d miss it, try attending a game for once in your life and you’ll see how difficult it can be without replays etc.

Maybe stick to playing the ball, not the man.

In lower grades players are getting long suspensions of a season or more.

Common sense would suggest eagles fans who cheered Gaff figured he’d bravely come back after being sniped for no reason by Johnson. Common sense would suggest they never saw the Gaff Brayshaw incident so their cheers were innocent and not the cheers of pigs.

I’m talking about people accusing west coast supporters of cheering Gaff after the incident when he kicked the goal as if nothing had happened. That’s just it, at that time most never knew he’d hit Brayshaw until after the game. If we had known what he’d done I’m sure we wouldn’t have cheered like we did.
