Where do I find the "reasonable, balanced Lions supporter" you talk about? LOL. Not on our forum that's for sure because if you look back, there are much more negative comments than positive ones. Our expectations of this kid astounds me. In saying that, I am interested in what value our BF supporters would think he could be used for as trade bait give his year as outlined in my last post.

Easy answer: none because he won't and shouldn't be traded.

Look we all get that you're related to or good friends with one of the lions players, quite possibly Eric himself, and as such are very protective of him. However I think you're blowing this up far too much tbh. For every 1 post putting some slight criticism on him theres several more in support or tempering what we should expect of him at this stage in his career. Clearly you're fishing for support on this to re-affirm the ability of a friend or family member, but to say there's many more negative ones than positive is wide of the mark.

Ben has been well and truly passed by our young emerging group of mids, only played 2 games for us this year, IMO would be worth nothing on the trade table other than maybe and few spots upgrade via a swap of picks in the 3rd/4th round.
