And that is.....the post of the night!Shiel to Hawks after rumours from more "reputable" posters have stated no club will be able to match our offer for Shiel, McGovern or Setterfield (barass70) PLUS Shiel wont be making any decisions until after finals (tencentpiece). So cool your jets y'all.

Which proves what a laugh it all is. Two concurrent and conflicting rumours doing the rounds about the same players. That ‘in the know’ Ockham Razor guy from TC posted this just before:

I heard journo Sam Edmund say because of GWS cap problems, Hawthorn have offered to pay or part pay Ceglar's contract. So the Hawks are getting Shiel and getting rid of Ceglar.
What the **** are GWS getting out of the deal?
Meaning - We don't rate Ceglar very highlyI heard journo Sam Edmund say because of GWS cap problems, Hawthorn have offered to pay or part pay Ceglar's contract.
Some have runs on the board. Some don'tWhich proves what a laugh it all is. Two concurrent and conflicting rumours doing the rounds about the same players.
Not going to happen. The players association would not have a bar of getting rid of it. it takes away the power of free movement from the player
The real one or the clone Ock?
Tonight's exhibition by Richmond highlighted how far behind we are. It was just hard mature bodies playing relentless uncompromising football. We all acknowledge our spine is simply game time away from becoming very good. But tonight highlighted that apart form 4 top on balers you just need a core group of B to B+ players that are hard at it, give their heart and soul and stick to the team plan.We are already a laughing stock....let's not care what opposition fans think. Let us just improve on the field and win some games. We have a core group of younger players that are edging towards 50 games and circa 23 years of age. I am hopeful they will exponentially improve

Watching them over he last 2 seasons its noticeable that they relentlessly move the ball forward at all cost. If in trouble the ball comes out moving forward at a 45 degree angle where they obviously all expect and run there. If none of these established players nominate us we need to select dedicated smart footballers with a bit of Mongrel that can follow instruction. The tigers have their quota of stars but more so they are fit physical and well drilled team. They developed well.
