Clarko demands his mid sized forwards have big tanks. Gunston is literally is in the top 2-3 every single game for ground covered. Burton has a heap of skill, but has zero tank. They tried everything but couldn’t get him to run more than 5-7km’s a game. The year before last, he played as a rebounding defender and it worked well but is not in Sicily’s class. He fell out with Clarko because despite their efforts to increase his tank because they couldn’t.

It was a smart trade. Port will find out. He will never reach his potential. Rioli didn’t have a tank but was explosive, feakishly smart and a pressure machine. Burton doesn’t fit our system and when Port play him forward they will find out his lack of two way running will hurt hard. Smart trade.
