I have read every single page of this thread, and not seen that.

Posters have gone to great detail to point out which views are identical to that of the shooter. It's not your rational conservative ones. Our cultural identity is under grave threat. Muslims are incompatible with Australian values. White are being replaced. It is undeniable there are some posters who have these views.

Not just talking about the discourse on here - every social media political pundit is doing the same thing online. "This was horrible and our thoughts and prayers are with the victims' loved ones. (Also, **** anyone who doesn't vote the same as me)".

Haven't read everything here but I am pretty sure I spotted someone calling Trump a white nationalist and implying he has some responsibility here, which by extension is an attack on anyone who voted for him. Just a lazy 50% of the American population...

Four Muslim men flew planes into the World Trade Centre (a place seen as a capitalist monument, where people were doing business and making a lot of money, (things Lefties like yourself hate, a building where it is highly probable that a lot of Right-Wing conservatives work) on 9/11, and another plane tried to fly into "Airforce One" (carrying a Right-wing President), but it was averted by passengers.

I would say that is a case where Muslims (who Lefties love defending, no matter what they do) attacked Right-Wingers.

But, let's see you spin this into how it is a U.S. Government conspiracy, they paid Muslims to fly into the World Trade centre, and paint the four guys who did it as being completely innocent.

The Left can't condemn the Right and say that every right-wing person is culpable of this, while condemning Right-Wingers for generalising that all Muslims must be terrorists. Both generalisations are wrong.

BTW, as a Mod, you should be more balanced and down-the-line, and not mod according to the side you don't like. Moderators have to adhere to higher standards here than the rest of us.

So dumb, the leftist protests post 911 were against the war in Iraq not the war in Afghanistan. Pretty much bipartisanship ruled when it came to invading Afghanistan. The right puts to many caveats in their condemnation of this tradegy thats what is so disgusting, they are just so scared to offend their extreme supporter bases on the fringes so they carefully shape their condemnation. Apologies for being unclear. Cleric accused the left of denying biology when it comes to gender. I was wondering if you're saying that; these people don't exist and his point is moot, OR that these people aren't aligned with the left, OR that you yourself have a certain belief on gender?

Society has moved on from gender issues apart from some keyboard warriors, Corey Bernadi, parts of the liberal party and homophobic religions.I regard it as bigotry to be against gender transition ect now.It's funny how 'consevatives' are always one step behind society.All these progressive policies eventually come in anyway eg Indigenous and women's right to vote, child support payments, not illegal to be gay anymore, gay marriage ect.In fact the Greens policies from 15 years ago are now mainstream and written into law.Conservative voters don't want any change at all, no matter how beneficial to society.They want the world to be like when they were a child where most people are white and there's a picture of the English queen in the lounge room.A lot of it is to do with people refusing to accept that the world and counties are mutli cultural now which was an inevitable part of growing the economy and cheap mass transportation.

I am not tryin to curtail anyone's freedom, personally I don't have any interest in watching nor reading his manifesto however not sure that I agree that by viewing it is doing anything but what the terrorists are after.

Anyway, just my 2 cents. I haven't got the stomach for it, I cried watching the news about it.

It takes a real sick person to be ok with doing what that guy did. In some ways, I think anyone who self identifies as a white nationalist should be made to watch the video in detail. And the footage of witnesses and victims in the aftermath. Have a look at what this shit actually looks like - not a movie or video game. In some ways it's kinda like how I think anyone who eats meat should slaughter their own food at least once so they can appreciate where their supermarket good comes from.

White nationalism was a major security issue prior to 2016, and he has brought even more out. Now we have another mass shooting. This is a major problem over there, it will come out here soon, and imo adds nothing to the debate adding that calling out white nationalism polarises people.

The ideological issues will never be fixed. There is no way to stop "Islamphobia", one of the main driving forces of the opposition to Muslims in "their country" are Christians and Christians endorsed politicians. As long as you allow the notion of "freedom" of religion, you will have to put up with these religions opposing each other. Religions are born to fight each other. If Muslims are the majority in these countries and Christians are the immigrating ones, the outcome would still be the same
