Couldn’t give a toss who wins this last match as long as Norf are buggered and sore afterwards, followed by an airline strike forcing them to drive home across the Nullarbor on a 1973 greyhound bus with no air conditioning or reclining seats.

Reading thru the Dons' forum autopsy thread on their loss to GWS, saw this post:

"For every other completed game, teams covered 250-300km
GWS covered 240km
Essendon covered 140km

I hope that was an issue with the GPS data because that is mind-boggling if true"

Not sure where that data has been sourced from, but.....yeah

That discrepancy is pretty much exactly the distance from Brisbane to Cooloongatta.

If only Round 1 form could be maintained for the entire season, we'd be locks for top 4 based on the performances of some teams.

That's not the case though, regardless of how North have looked, they have our number down in Melbourne and it'll be big test for us.

They don't look flash hot though against a side many tipped to fall.
