Apologies in advance, bit late to the thread and it's probably been mentioned, but Mihocek is everything we were hoping Sean Rusling (and to a lesser extent Jack Anthony) would be.

Was gutted when Sean retired due to injury. A sharp shooter who was hard to tackle and also a great mark

Checkers still has a bit to go but this guy is incredibly important to our success. A style that's been missing for a while. A sight for sore eyes

Loved Elliot and Degoey on ball, so much class...I’d like to see more of that.

Grundy dominant...everyone was good tonight. Treloar outstanding

I thought Varcoe went missing for long time of Period

I can't find hit outs to advantage stats... despite an epic game last week, I recall there being some criticisms of Grundy's ruck dominance not being taken advantage of. Either through poor tapwork or poor reading by the mids. Seemed better this week.
I was one of those who got drawn and quartered last week for daring to say anything critical about Grundy.
Watched his game closely again last night and his tap work was much better.
I said earlier in the thread that his game last week may have been better statistically but I think he was far more influential last night.

That’s shit. They class a cheap snipe behind play, on a player facing the other way, as careless but Mason Cox steps in front of someone in getting back to the square and it’s intentional!

**** this MRP, I could do a better job with my eyes shut.

He’s in and out of games no doubt. But when he does get it, it’s class and does a lot that stats don’t cover. He plays every week for me...he is a big game player and we need him match fit for finals!

Varcoe had to go back for a bit after Aish left with concussion. He defended okay back there.

Sorry Otto we don’t win without him last week I don’t GAS about stats.

I am on Dave’s side here........if Aish played the same way as Varcoe did he would be lambasted.

I thought the Brisbane player took his legs after he kicked it,
Some clubs get a double goal due to that!
Thought the same as soon as it happened. Obvious case of an infringement after the kick; and therefore a free kick to follow the goal.

It was definitely something that could cause an injury, but I've seen similar before a heap of times and never seen a double goal from it.

Good to see that Jamie appreciates the work of Checkers even if some take a while to warm to him. Cue a thousand girls wishing that Jamie would look at them like that.:)
I think Jamie has a lady love; and she loves tattoos.

I love Mihocek, but really struggling to see the Rusling comparison. Mihocek is a gut busting workhorse who offers a bit of everything - presents all day offering an excellent contest in the air, an excellent contest and opportunism on the ground and strong defensive intent. Rusling offered an explosive lead from the goal square and strong hands, but rarely got involved otherwise. The trick he had could have made him a star, but it was his only trick.

Ive taken more logically consistent dumps than that decision
MRP results seem to be totally based upon medical outcome. Cowardly snipes that well could have led to injury keep getting the green light.

I don't usually pay any attention to ruckwork, but after last weeks conversation, I watched it closely. Grundy's ruck work was great against the Lions. No idea how that related to his normal tapping standards.
