Good on Bucks for coming to Scott's defence. I agree that the uproar spawned by the Bomber fans was justified after such a close game, but it was at least a nice opportunity to prove how much Buck's care for his players.

Or do what I did. Walk down Copacabana beach in a Corinthians shirt.

:relaxed:
Safer in Rio than in São Paulo's West- or Southsides! (Respectively, Palmeiras and São Paulo zones)

People like Bobbi Murphy & Gerhard Whiteley need to be shot into the sun with a cannon.

A doco on Jack The Ripper no less. JTR docos had jumped the shark by the mid-80’s.

Who is the suspect now? A time travelling shapeshifter I reckon.

Booing is not bad, it is just a noise

booing at certain times can be considered as inappropriate, disrespectful, class less etc

Reason / motivation for the booing?? Well I think after any reportable booing incident, a surveymonkey should be sent out to those booing and then the moral compass can be applied to their responses.

Wonder how many will answer honestly with ‘everyone else was’

Robbie Gray has not been playing well all year so far. Is he injured or is it something else. His form and touch have been way below his standard.

Anyone have an idea ?
Looks injured to me. Not running hard enough when he doesn't have the ball or running into the goal face over the back, making it easier for the mids to spot him up or run into it... instead he just wrestles with his opponent stationary in a desperate effort to draw a free over and over. Hasn't had a good season. Hopefully turns it around tonight against a rabble of a defence.

Where do you stand on The Haka?

Context. Haka is done before a game directed at the other team, performed by the entire NZ team.

Goodes done his thing during a game, purposely seeking out the one bay nearby full of Carlton supporters, after kicking a fairly mundane goal in a fairly mundane game that didn't give an impression he was riding high on emotion.

The only time I might boo is when the opposition run out at a home game... Throughout the rest of the game I sit there , too much effort booing and you look like a 12 year old.

Everyone at the football looks like a 12 year old. Guernseys with your favourite players number being a case in point.

As others have said, I don't get the hand-wringing about booing Pendlebury. It was understandable that anything to do with Collingwood was going to rile up the Essendon supporters after such an insipid umpiring display. Each side would have grievances, but its worse when you lose.

Seems as though they are worried now at tit-for-tat booing at subsequent Anzac Day presentations. But I reckon bring it on. Eventually it will become a badge of honour as who gets the loudest boos when they win it. Like the Kevin Sheedy scarf twirling, it all becomes a bit of fun by fans in the end.

I boo the **** out of poor umpire decisions, players I'll only boo for set shots, if they've done something dirty to one of our players, or are an ex player I dont like.

It's no big deal. Every prime minister du jour attending a sporting event gets booed when their mug is flashed up on the big screen (octogenarian Bob Hawke sculling a beer excepted). They've tried to sanctify the Anzac Day game into some more than it is, then they get their knickers in a twist due to reactions from supporters who are still hurting from losing a close game that may have been decided due to dodgy umpiring. If they're so concerned, how about scrapping the post-match onfield presentation of a meaningless medal.

Essendon supporters should have helicoptered their jackets while booing just to look more ridiculous.

They can do what they want, but I question the mentality of people who stay behind long after the game is done to boo randomly at any moving thing because injustice.

Maybe they stay behind after work and boo their boss's empty office because they think he's an arseh*le too.

Yeah I noticed simular things. Lets hope what ever it is he gets his mojo going.

This is a good point. If it was me, I would have been well out of the stadium by the time any presentation had occurred.

I was already at the gate when McGovern kicked that goal last year.
