Highly rate Luke's ability to switch on beast mode for a qtr when the game is on the line. But just for lols, because so much of the subtle trolling of this nature goes unnoticed yet is worthy of respect:

"Luke Shuey
Has put together an enormous campaign, averaging a personal-high 26.5 disposals, but it's the quality of his possessions and ability to stand up in big moments that makes Shuey a star."

Shuey is #1 in the competition for turnovers and #4 for clangers. His disposal efficiency is handily bellow fearless cross town ball butcher and all round great guy Nat Fyfe. He manages quite literally turn the ball over more than anyone in the competition despite struggling to maintain touch with the pack in terms of total possessions, hence the rather cute note of *personal high* for disposals in 2019. But oh, the quality of those possessions mmm mmm.
Shuey is one of the best kicks in the league, look at his kick to handball ratio compared to all those other top mids and have a think about why their efficiency might be higher you mop.

Barrass was pushed in the middle of the back by a straight leg shove to put him out of the marking contest.

If the straight leg shove is not to elevate you for the marking attempt, but more to remove another player, I'd prefer they pay the free kick

I'm sure it's been written about here but Daniel Kerr is an excellent analyst on the Coast to Coast podcast. Under all the joking and mucking about, he knows his stuff. That seems obvious but there aren't that many ex-players who are good at talking about how the game works rather than just spouting off.
Although he suggested Lewis Jetta could be AA and would go close to winning the B&F, which is nonsense.

The bias in BT's call of the Richmond Lions game is unbelievable. Newsreader when Lions attack. Pants wetting supporter when Richmond attacks.
Just came in here to say this.

So much wrong with this article I don't know where to start. ABC has sunk to main board troll levels.

The MCG rule is only now being brought to attention because Geelong are disadvantaged, never mind when West Coast (twice) and Brisbane both got shafted by the rule and lost a home final.

Quote of the article from Robbo:

“The AFL must be the only sport in the world where the team which qualified higher has to play a home final at the other team’s home ground. It’s ridiculous,” Robinson wrote.
“And it all comes down to money. The AFL says it’s about maximising crowd numbers, which really means it’s maximising money.
“The AFL takes all the money from the final series so, of course, they want the final at the MCG. Nothing can be done about it because money overtook fairness and integrity-of-competition a long time ago.”

Yet this doesn't apply to the Grand Final apparently, only the other finals

And yet when anyone brings up the fact that the GF will be at the MCG for at least another million years or that Richmond get a complete armchair ride into finals without even having to get on a bus, it’s seen as whinging.
