Don’t like him, haven’t for years. Strikes me as supercilious.

Almost vomited last night when he carried on like a fool after Tuouhy kicked the goal to get us within 19 points. 19 points! Having been pantsed up until then. It’s not like we had taken the lead in the last quarter. As a supporter I find that sort of thing dispiriting, as it suggests to me he’s just barracking like the rest of us.

I agree, watching him alternately pouting, smashing the phone on the desk and against the glass, and doing his Roar of Passion was unedifying given what we served up.

Why do we need to stay near the top. He's told us for years that low 20s at Kardinia is the equivalent of mid 70s at the G.

Surely we have enough rusted on members, season seat holders to at the least 3/4 fill Kardinia each home game? They don't even have to turn up, just pay for the memberships and seats.
Have said similar before.
I think the corporates running the show are insulting the supporters saying we need to 'contend' all the time to entice people to follow the club.

Rohan marks 20m our near directly in front. Kicks out on the full. Scott’s fault.

Hawkins earns a free 15m out on a tight angle. Bizarrely, after snapping these all year he tries a drop punt and misses. Scott’s fault.

Harry Taylor three times in the first quarter spoils his own team mate leading to Pie goals. Scott’s fault.

Kolo does a volleyball “set” instead of marking the ball inside D50 leading to a Pie goal. Scott’s fault.

I'm really interested (genuinely) in why the six people...
...have voted to support Chris Scott post 2019 finals disaster?

If those six could give their reasons, I'd appreciate their 1.Honesty and 2.Courage

The bottom 3 are hawthorn trolls
I guess you could say they are being honest but I don't think courage is coming into it

yeah gets funny how no blame is put on Scarlett as our backline coach and who spends most time with the backline...

I can’t speak for others but my ability to divorce emotion from facts and logic plays a significant part.
LOL...that's not a legitimate reason. That's an emotional comeback. My offer still stands.

I don’t expect you to be able to arrest the strong control your limbic system has over your view of football. That’s OK.

Our only hope is if scott resigns cause he knows he’s not taking us anywhere. Which won’t happen cause he’s too arrogant and self centred. We couldn’t afford a 3 yr payout.

Cause 2 are hawk nuffie trolls.
Really? If that's true, that leaves only four loyalists...getting lonely in here for CS best buds club.

Ummm...I thought I'd asked a pretty logical question. Why do you still support SC?

As I've said many times before, individual players shitting the bed in a single game - their fault
Collective team shitting the bed constantly in finals, after the bye etc - All on the coach

People aren't calling for Scott's head just on last night's performance, it's from seeing an obvious trend that has infested this team regardless of personel

C'mon CE, you can point to the fact he's highly unlikely to be sacked as why you support him but if you want to try to use these as examples then it can be completely undone with the following.

Continuing to allow open pies defensive side of every contest.
Continuing to allow, through a very open defensive zone, the pies to hit up short targets.
Continuing to allow pies to run from behind the player with the ball for easy handball receives.
Continuing to play slow and down the line when it obviously won't, and hasn't, worked.
Continuing to allow the pies to spread from contests due to having zero protection outside.
Continuing to allow the pies defenders to stand in front, block our forwards and get numbers to any long high ball.
Continuing to refuse to switch or try to take the game on.
Refusal to play an actual ruckman against the best ruck in the comp.
Refusal to stick with in form players to instead bring in favourites.

Would it be the bloke that after watching his charges get reamed by Charlie Cameron thought I don't think he had an influence and followed up with Grundy 47 and 21 no he wasn't much of a factor, the bloke that thinks Blits is the answer to every thing and that Kolo jazz can play short and tall when in fact he can't play either.
Well now that you mention it...YES! I thought that might be the common denominator too. Seems like we are at last putting 2 and 2 together down at Kardinia Park.

Don't bother MH...he is deep in his little world.

Courage in the sense that they still support the indefensible. Courage or Stupidity...or a mix of both.

No, while people blame the loss on Scott when individual culpability is ignored and dismissed there is no use in discussing these things.

this isn't just Scott doing what he wants, this is a selection of coaches that come together and work out ways to get best out of the players, we have anomaly's that no one has answers for our record against the bye and why we start games so bad, this is a club issue from Carter and Cook down to the players to sort out...

So players picked by the coach shitting themselves in finals, just like they have in the last 4 final series has nothing to do with the coach?
It's the players fault, but why even have a coach if they can't work with and improve players with their issues?
It's not emotional, it's Just not something he can address. Well not with our group anyway.
Not with a totally different group if you believe his own words either.
Maybe more emotion actually has to be bought into it.
He may be a very good moneyball style coach, that could be quite handy for the Suns.
But he has nothing else. He's too skewed to purely analytics. Needs to add a lot more to his coaching and tone that ego down a few notches IMO.

Lol. Let’s drop Hawkins, Rohan and Taylor for a final.

Not playing a Ruckman against Grundy borders on treason against the Geelong Football Club. It is probably the worst decision I have seen a coach (match committee) make in last 40+ years of footy I have watched.

Simply inexcusable...and I believe he may pay with his job for it...and rightly so.
