I think he might have a Prelim on his mind. Also not sure it would be the best thing to turn up for an interview of the team you are playing on the weekend

He plays for Norwood not Glenelg

Burgoyne to GC rumours weren’t going away either. Until he re-signed.This Laird trade stuff isn’t going away. Good old Dwayne Russell says ‘higher ups’ at the Crows hinting he could be traded. Would be the dumbest move. And that says a lot.
I posted it on the cryptic threadOut of the hundreds of rumours dropped on here did anyone post beforehand that Pyke was going to stand down?
If us insiders didn't know that was happening then...
I think someone posted it in the rumour thread five minutes before it happened. Here you go, just before 11am and prior to the news dropping in the media:Out of the hundreds of rumours dropped on here did anyone post beforehand that Pyke was going to stand down?
If us insiders didn't know that was happening then...
I’ve been told Pyke is gone.
Some routine interview. No idea. Just passing along the rumour. What interview?
Contracts create certainty for players but more of the risk of a contract is on the clubs part. Currently clubs can't force a contracted player to leave. Well unless your hawthorn. But a contracted player can request a trade and can get to their club of choice pretty much 95% of the time. Is that fair? No. If the club had known that a particular player was going to break their contract they may have invested cap into a different player they may have had to let go. The inequity for clubs needs to change as clubs(especially non victorian) need to be protected. Currently the players have a majority of power. Once contracted players can be moved regardless then contracts will be a lot more valuable to clubs which is what matters for the long term viability of the game. That cant be correct. Even in your statement you say that the club could still move him on "if he is willing to move". Club cant move him on if he has a contract and he wants to stay. At best the club could send him off but they would have to our his contract so for me the contract means a lot.
Interesting after a few years he'still cooked. But his hands are no better at the start if games

Same for Tex when you think about it. A few people said he should, I don’t remember anyone saying he will.Out of the hundreds of rumours dropped on here did anyone post beforehand that Pyke was going to stand down?

It really does not matter. We have pick 3 and it most certainly won't be (had better not be) used to draft stephens. Then we have pick 21 and he is gone by then. There are other players in the draft that look much more promising for us should we engineer a mid 1st rounderGiven the timing (I.e. the same week as be played and beat them in a final) it’s probably way more likely he was going to stop past and say hi to a recruiting manager after the game. But instead just went home after being devastated from getting bundled out.
What is shows is a 19 y.o. Fogarty can acheive the same as a 30 y.o. at half the cost.Bingo!! When JJ can destroy Rance you don't just give him away for a year in the 40's or 60's if the draft that could end up playing not a single game.
Our forwards have shown this year they can destroy opposition forwards, but the game plan sucked. So many on here want us to get rid if JJ watch Eddie leave and rely on Tex (1 year left in him) FOG and Berg (who will take time or might not make it).
By trading out JJ will heap more pressure on developing players
Actually some quality lols I read from the Port board on that page particularly liked the Roo/ Luko/ Lynch commentary.Just a little tid bit from the noisy neighbours down the road
List Mgmt. - Trade Targets / Rumours
I reckon Crows will get Luko. With half their team moving on, including Laird is the rumour, they will have plenty of draft picks/ players to satisfy GCS. with the Laird rumour that might be part of the Kelly deal something like:- Laird ---> Cats Kelly ----> West Coast (Eagles player)...www.bigfooty.com
Yep..they are a sorry bunch down there. But hearing one of their posters claim Lukosius was at West Lakes and seeing the state of panic it engenders is greatActually some quality lols I read from the Port board on that page particularly liked the Roo/ Luko/ Lynch commentary.

Im sorry but if you want to be a AFL footballer and an AFL club asks for an interview and you skip out on it because you don't want to play 'there' that's a really poor attitude. You've already shown when things aren't going your way that you don't rock up... entitled much?
