Club is pretty annoyed with Phillips decision. Had an offer at his exit meeting and agreed to terms, backflip now.

TBH if I was Phillips, CFC offered me a one year deal and then Essendon come knocking with a 2 year deal, and you then go back to CFC and ask for 2 but get told "nah, only a one year deal"......I wouldn't blame him for exploring his options.
