Stocker himself said Richmond gave him pretty scathing feedback that he only runs one way.

No chance we were gonna take him as our whole game plan is based around gut running / endurance.

It was Carlspoon spin that we were going to take Stocker so they jumped in for the player they rated 6th best.

Fascinating if any live trades go down this year as most neutral observers agree that was one almighty cluster *

Take Gould and slim him down. Much easier than getting Day and asking him to put on weight. 1-2 year project vs 3-5.

Probably runs a bit deeper than a fat v skinny debate when you're investing a minimum of $250,000 in these kids and looking to draft them for a 12 year period. TOTALLY different players in my view with the only comparison is that they've both played back in recent years (Gould played forward in juniors and Day inside mid).

BTW Day played Champs at 187cm / 70kg and tested at the combine at 189cm / 76kg. So at that rate he'll be 82kgs by opening round.

Yep but 6'2". Highly skilled on both sides and good footy brain. Undeveloped so there's upside but you'd think his high skill set would appeal around our pick.
