Have you heard Ryan Adams' cover of her 1989 album? Some very good takes on her tracks on there. His version of Style is kickass.Very big on Bad Blood, both versions have their unique parts which I like. I Knew You Were Trouble and 22 are absolute bangers, too. Less a fan of her latest stuff, but Fearless, Red and Bad Blood I can listen to from front to back no issues.

Not that big on I Knew You Were Trouble. 22 is great, her latest album is very good. Reputation not so big on.
State of Grace, Red, Welcome To New York probably my three favourites. Love Style too. Really like Fifteen and Hey Stephen too.
All Too Well is probably her best song.

He covered the whole album and released it, listen to the whole thing (admittedly I don't like all of it, but there are quite a few covers from that album that I dig)I haven't heard the cover but I'll chuck it on at some point this weekend.
I get your point. More a surprising choice that you like than a guilty pleasure I guessTo be honest, I don't have any guilty pleasures when it comes to music. Nobody should be embarrassed of the music they choose to listen to.
Oh 100% they were fantastic for creating so much. It’s very impressive in its own right especially when artists these days don’t churn them out nearly as often due to touring/success/laziness.I think they're incredible if for nothing else than the vast range of their music, the content of the music, and the rapidity with which it was produced. It's very reminiscent in some ways of Shakespeare and the volume of work that he put out over a relatively short period of time.
That’s a fair assessment. These days a lot of pop has the skrillex-esque beats behind it so can’t see it transferring over in my opinion. I could see their experimental stuff being successful in the more underground circles.I think tastes/genres change too much over time to say they would have the same success now. There's some songs that they did like Love Me Do & She Loves You that were massive for them back then that wouldn't have the some pop appeal now. But something like Helter Skelter or Revolution I think would have massive cut through, more than perhaps at the time as well. Another with that bit of a whack type song like I Am Walrus would have the same cut through as it did back then.
Of course but again it’s a hypothetical. The Beatles revolutionised music. There is no way music would be the same today if they didn't exist.
About to say Ryan Adams cover album is great. Shame he’s been thrown in with the #metoo movement (not condoning his actions).Have you heard Ryan Adams' cover of her 1989 album? Some very good takes on her tracks on there. His version of Style is kickass.

I was wrong earlier when talking about my favourite cover of all time
It is without a doubt this. This song would also be in my top 10 favourite songs of all time, hands down.
My old mate Bruce might have wrote it, and while I don't mind his version, this is infinitely better. I could listen to this on repeat for hours. The arrangement is a million times better.
What is your favourite cover song strauchanie59 bok_party WealstoneRaider jd2010 chef SM Loonerty?
Yeah it got postponed after someone accused him of sexual harassment and his ex wife Mandy Moore and Phoebe Bridgers, who he helped start, also accused him of it.He's written some great tracks.
He was meant to be releasing a new album, hope it's still happening.
Ooooh.Jeff Buckleys hallelujah is a great cover.
Big fan of this actually:
But it's bias because they're local.
Also Art vs Science's Enter Sandman cover is good, especially live:
I finally thought of one. When I heard this for the first time I finally realised perfection can be improved on
