It's quite possible that 2 weeks is not enough time for quarantine. The standard of 2 weeks was a guess.

That was my initial thought but what if the government has a blanket rule. If you have direct contact with someone who’s had a positive test you have to quarantine for x days

If the league goes into hiaitus again, with short quarters they can play on 4 day breaks on resumption. With no, or minimal, crowds playing midweek isn't a problem. Fox would love getting at least a game a night.

They are all community transmission.. so yes he is correct.. it's out of control. Months ago .. all cases were returned travellers. The mode of transmission is more important than the raw number of people getting it. Example - 10k people coming from America Test positive... is not as bad as 1k people getting it within the community.. Why? Because community transmission means there are a shit load of people walking around with it, that either don't know they have it, or don't do anything about it.
