I’ve slept on it and can’t believe the biggest club is settling between a no name from the local league and fricken John Aloisi lmao wtf
In these current environments we probably have no other choice, It will be difficult as has been mentioned in the above article to find a decent overseas coach on reasonable money and Dallas wasn’t exactly a proven coach yet see his demands?
I would encourage the club to go local, Papas would be a good fit imo has a good NPL record has worked with youth and is currently assistant to Ange at Yokohama. Might not present as well through which might be a reason he hasn’t gotten a gig in the league previously, but I’d rather take a risk at an unproven to handle a rebuild than a conservative view in Aloisi who has shown to have failed at two clubs already so why would he succeed at a third? He‘d just bring has beens in probably finish third or fourth for a couple of season then we will crash again and we will be in the some position as today rock bottom! But I guess he looks good in a suit...
No brainer for me Papas! Give him a two year deal if it doesn’t work out well we can’t really get any lower than we currently are. But I bet ADP is more thinking about them corporate lunch-ins to present Aloisi at to all his business pals rather than anything football, “look who we signed! that guy who scored that very famous penalty! please donate and sponsor my club!”
