Maybe there were some frank discussions after last season. Danger's changed too (in gamestyle more than anything), Guthrie etc stepped up. It can't be coincidental
It’s almost like Danger has been told to step
aside and let these other guys step up.

Anyone else concerned about the forecast of thunderstorms and rain? Doesn’t really suit our style of play.

Been monitoring this like Mike Larkins on steroids, haha.

Has changed from 70% chance, to 60% chance to now 30% chance of rain. Originally was also 0-6mm, now it's only 0-1mm. Looks like it'll just miss, and hit on Sunday instead. Even if it does, it's only 1mm, and won't be 'thunderstorms' like they were predicting.

Will be hot and slightly dewy though, so we'll have to actually be really careful about slipping over, and not playing into their turnover game

Definitely a lot more positive about this aspect than I was at the start of the week

AFL360 🙄🙄🙄
Discussing ‘Could Have Been Champions’ introduced by Rob??? - who, “Blah! Blah! Blah! Onto Wednesday favourites + highlighted Balta, as loved by Tigers’ fans 😳 Why? Because “There’s [sic] not many 21yos, who jump into. . .” the competition, who have such an impact. . .watch our Whately’s BP rise, as he summons Geelong’s prodigy, yet he waits, while Robbo (remembered his name), creams his pants over Balta. Whately exclaims that our Sam Simpson is a ‘bewdifull’ story, so much so that even Ralf (Hun) told his story. The simarlarities between father + son: “EVERY INCH! His son is the whole bit!” Whately was so eloquent, lyrical + utterly crapped all over Robbo’s Balta attempt. Balta? Balta, who?”

That was NAUSEATING. The best part was later when they said that Balta would have to have Grimes help out on Hawkins or whether Astbury should start on Hawkins to 'ease' Balta into it 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I’m not up to that yet, had to throw up, swallow a bottle of Maxalon + wait for the nausea to subside! Vaytink! Vaytink! Vaytink!

Is someone cutting onions in here? Russell Jackson's article on Gary

😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Brilliant. Just brilliant.

There are undoubtedly so many stories that will never be told about the Ablett family. But the sense in which their sporting genius both elevated their adulation while simultaneously eviscerating their humanity is just profound.

Saturday closes a chapter in football history that we will surely never see the likes of again. I can only hope that we will be witness to the most fitting way possible for the legacy left by the Ablett clan to come to a truly glorious conclusion on the biggest stage the game has to offer.

Gary, your moment awaits...
