Zilliams too much if an injury risk imo and gaff probably not got the as much scope for improvement as Taranto does.

Would you still choose the first option if the midfielder was someone else other than Gaff? Could be any 580k and lower mid.

If I go Doc then I have Lloyd/Laird/Doc/ZWilliams/Duggan/Harmes
If I go MR then I have Macrae/Walsh/Cripps/Rowell/Taranto/Heppell/Rook/Rook
So with Doc I have no Rookies on field down back but 3 Rookies on field Mid
If I go Rowell I have 2 rookies Mid and Cox D6 Back

Whilst suring up any potential DEF rookies is a good strategy .....my view is will Zilliams, Duggan, or Doc outscore your mid choicesIf I go Doc then I have Lloyd/Laird/Doc/ZWilliams/Duggan/Harmes
If I go MR then I have Macrae/Walsh/Cripps/Rowell/Taranto/Heppell/Rook/Rook

So after you feel comfortable with your DEF strategy ....the player choice is does player A outscore Player B

Can't go wrong with either. Mills as a midfielder has the potential to score more but Daniel definitely is the safer pick for a player around that 100 average. In saying that, i think you can get away with starting neither and trading them in during the season.
