One of the pearls I picked up working for a player manager.

Majority of came about from him not being very quick witted when sledging and got quite nasty and personal.

i know pre 2017 richmond so things could've changed and probably did given their success but their culture was deplorable, very hard to believe that their success is off the back of culture as opposed to largely on field stuff. A lot escapes me now but when my mate got delisted he got no goodbye from any of the leaders, no message, nothing. It's just basic decency, you've been a club for a few years, thank you for your work, good luck in your future endeavors. The entire playing group, even his closest mates there immediately unfollow him on social media and hears nothing from them at all. He rated Dusty and Vlastuin as leaders but not Cotchin and Hardwick was a bit of a dick and didn't give him much of a shot.

Nah Cotchin is a shit campaigner.

The AFL hated Richmond last year. The whole whinging being in a hub last year and demanding certain certain things to be brought into the hub was certainly instigated by the Cotchins.

Trent certainly voiced in an AFLPA zoom meeting to the much of opposition players rolling their eyes.

Caddy was towards the fringe pretty much the whole time with the Cats. Never seemed to cement a spot with them (or the Sun's, really). Weller is very much wanted by the Suns.

2016 was a time where going fast off hb with awful disposal still had some value. JJ is small, fast and a good awful user. We're in the position we are because we don't tolerate that anymore.

Could go to partner Saad at Carlton. Saad's a better player but imo is kinda limited in a similar way. Runs fast but can be poo with his disposal and defending. Carlton love throwing cash at a 'big fish' every year too so good for him.
