In fairness, it isn't his fault GC haven't been able to convince him to move given he is contracted. Furthermore his management would be remiss not to ask for as much as they can from a team in rebuild mode with a heap of cap space who look to gain a pretty nice pick from the deal.

His career is pretty much over if he stays at GC. Kicked 1 goal and had 2 assists from 11 games as a small forward, makes Turner look like Kevin Bartlett.

Seems like a very odd move by McPherson. When you’ve only got 1 year left on your contract and you’re not best 22, not to take a 2 year deal from another club seems like a path straight to early retirement.

Feels like GC trade posturing tbh, can't see how its a smart career choice for him personally, should be coming to a young club with a gap in the position he plays with opportunity to give his AFL career a real crack

Definitely. He's dicking us around like he was Dusty, when his football is for the dustbin. Even if we get #19, I wouldn't want to be lining up along side him.

At what stage do we say bugger it, make them take Taz as a FA and then walk CCJ to the PSD? We’ve tried to play nice but we don’t owe them anything. Need to be willing to walk away from CCJ imo.

That’s right. They stand to receive 38, 39 and Tarrant. Instead if we walk away they will get Tarrant and pick 50+
