Draft picks
Normally eDPS would be running the show but he's a little time poorer this year so I've offered to do this for him. Ideally we'd have 18 people sign up but if we don't get that by Friday, one or two might have to double up.

Rules:

1. Pick trading is allowed, but the points difference have to be within 200 points per the AFL rules or include future picks.
2. You have 8 hours between 8 am and 10 PM AEDT to make your pick. Otherwise you get the next player on eDPS rankings
3. Bids can be made and matched.

Brisbane’s 41, 54 and 60 for Adelaide’s 33 and a future 3rd?

Probably only work if you’re planning on taking 3 picks in as the Crows, if not then all good
Nah. Thanks though.

The swap will see the Giants receive pick 54 from the Lions in exchange for a future third-round selection (currently tied to Port Adelaide) that GWS received as part of Jeremy Finlayson's move to the Power.

Jason Horne-Francis
Pick #2 - North select Jason Horne Francis

North bid on Daicos early. I found Horne-Francis and Daicos hard to separate, and ultimately happy with either. I expect Collingwood and North to be in similar positions next year, by putting a bit more pressure on Collingwood, there is a chance to push them in to deficit and therefore maybe get a sneaky pick upgrade next year.
Horne-Francis has been great all year. He is a dynamic midfielder with leadership potential. North will be able to build a team around this guy. He has already shown best on performances against men, playing for South Adelaide and will walk into North's round 1 team in 2022. We know that North is committed to him having passed on a very tempting offer from Adelaide.

boncer34 for Pick 3

Finn Callaghan
Nah. Thanks though.

Fair, moot point given Brisbane have actually traded one of those picks anyway.

I assume any actual live trades that happen will be reflected here eth-dog

I included the one between Brisbane and GWS last night because it didn't affect the order but the other ones, no. The trades in this game will be reflected.

Fremantle open to offers for pick 21.

Josh Gibcus
Please tag the next person.

Adelaide take Gibcus

Tippa43
Honestly thought Adelaide would be the least likely to take Gibcus out of the top 10. Have Butts, Murray, McAsey and Worrall back there

Focus on your own draft jerky mcjerkface

Neil Erasmus
Hawks select Neil Erasmus.

I did a big write up but the edit didnt save.

Basically the kid is a jet. I think the hawks are pretty set with a decent backline so i focused on the midfield given the few forwards available would be a reach at this pick. This guy will add a point of difference to the midfield where he will later settle.

Jye Amiss
Hawks take Neil Erasmus.

Ive asked this before, but how do you tag people?
Put '@' in front of their name.

Pick 8: Jye Amiss (195 cm/83 kg, Key Forward, East Perth)

The key forward or the midfielder? That was always the dilemma for me here and since Erasmus was taken earlier it made it obvious to take Amiss ahead of the potential midfielders that slip past here. Ironically, Amiss rarely misses in front of the big sticks which makes him a very attractive proposition for the Dockers who's biggest area of concern is a lack of young key forwards outside of Josh Treacy.

Others considered: Matthew Johnson, Ben Hobbs, Josh Ward

You're up again for GWS
