Switkowski's got that Ablett-like agility and lateral movement in traffic. Combine that with his speed and balance, it's just such a weapon cutting through defenders where there's no space. Easy to forgot he hasn't reached 50 games yet and it's great to see him finally get a fair run of it.

Nice win.

Poor Old Michael Frederick didn't get any if his leads honoured. Anyone else notice that?
I was ok with it. His arms are painted on.

Full credit to JG who seems to have fixed our forward line woes.

Walters..Welcome back Son Son. Lovely game and that Cerra tackle was Very Nice.

Switta is just elite with his evasion. Seriously hard to tackle when he can turn on a 5 cent coin and Billy Elliot his way through tackles.

Schultz deserves a proper contract. A nice fat one!

Freddy never stops trying and almost always seems threatening. They cannot leave him unchecked due to his insane speed. He's having a solid season.

We are dangerous inside forward 50 again. Teams are nervous and those nerves are forcing errors with perceived pressure.

A couple of Shout outs:
Acres... Mate. You are a slow burn trade that just keeps on improving. Tonight you showed everyone that talent that we all knew was there. This trade was a win.

Brodie.. Mate. Best trade in of the season. There's daylight now between you and second. Fast becoming a fan favourite and a reason we arent getting flogged out of the middle anymore.

Lobb..Mate..You worked your guts out tonight and did some really good things. Stay. Dont go.
Great post! Thanks.

What did I miss?

Also... we are going to have some unlucky outs next week.

Logue was good today but Chappy and Young will come back into the team. Very good position to be in!
Not necessarily.

Did Chappy & Young have covid or were they just a close contact?

The beauty of this group is we are not reliant on any one player. Everyone is playing their role (except for Freddy he was shocking today) & stepping up when we need them.

Lobb, Pearce, Acres, Colyer, Aish, are the prime example of this, not match winners, but moment winners when we need them to stand up at vital points of the game.

The game plan developed by the coaching group is what we have been dreaming of for 5+ years & is just great to watch. Little bit of Richmond of a few years ago without the manic ball movement, but not fussed to lose the contest to win back the ball at half back & take off with controlled movement.

Just a joy to watch.
Not to nit pick but the irony is there saying players played their role yet calling Frederick out. He did just that and opened many opportunities for his teammates. Anyone at the game would've seen this

I’m gonna have to rewatch it on Tele to clarify that
There seemed like lots of opportunities for him but none were taken
Won’t be surprised to see him come out for Sturt next few weeks if no other forward line outs .

I like how in just about every game this season, except the Saints game, when we have a poor quarter we seem to be able to rectify the problem in the very next quarter. Tonight we lacked connection with the forwards in the first quarter, nek quarter, fixed. When have we ever been able to do that?

You don’t see that on TV but the after match interviews on 7 had our players pointing that out.
Play your role Freddy and you will have days where you are on the end of the goals.

Yeh, it’s been said already.
Had a good chat after the game to a couple who are very close to him who were disappointed with aspects of his game & felt he didn’t work hard enough to get on the end of a few along with some smaller points.
To say he was shocking was not correct & others got the plaudits today, which no doubt he has & will. They have also said he still lacks belief & is happy for others to get the praise.
