If we can go 3-1 from that without Stewart, we’re laughing. 2-2 and top 4 is still likely.

Didn't they change the rules meaning you could appeal without the risk of an increased suspension? Whats to lose there.

Compare this to other 4 week suspensions, not even anywhere near the same.

It can be increased on appeal so we wont appeal.

Sorry to intrude, I just wanted to say that the outrage from the Tigers supporters on their board is out of control. Especially in their assertion that it was a 'targeted' and 'sniper attack'. Some of you may remember earlier this year, one of their young blokes, Mansell, copped a week for elbowing Ginnivan in the back of the head twice while he was on the bottom of a pack. I recall several posts on their board at the time saying that Mansell should've hit him harder and/or that it was worth the suspension.
I accept Prestia was actually hurt in this incident, but honestly they can give it a rest with the holier than thou attitude.

Rich and their thug supporters can go EAD.

Goes to show again the difference it makes when you play another team. Go back a week or so ago and it looked like we might be getting the Dees at the perfect moment - with them out of form, with no Gawn in their side, and with Danger having made a successful return from injury for us against the Tigers. Instead, it will be Danger's first game back if he even does play, the Dees look back to their absolute best, and suddenly we'll be without our best player.

Think the concensus among the reasonable was 3-4. And my guess is that was the clubs view.

It’s not exactly like-for-like but Henry coming back in as Stewart goes out is at least a mitigating element in who to play in the role.

We all know that wont be the case, there is a reason Geelong has more suspension time then any other club in the AFL. Whenever it's time to "Make an example" there are enough media personalities that hate Geelong to ensure it's a Cats player that gets the hit.

Seems about fair. The act itself (high off the ball shoulder was probably worth 1-2 weeks if Prestia has walked away from it), But its a fact of life that outcome is considered and Prestia got seriously hurt.
