The bombers have done us a favour beating the saints and swans in the last 3 weeks. However I do not think with the current outs, game plan and structure we are good enough to take it. Need at least 3 of the next 5.

Agree although Sydney have a really easy draw. As do the Tigers who will probably takes the Saints’ place.

If we get shitney they probably lose 3 in a row .. still have a few difficult games to go and just lost to essendope and lost to GC at home as well and struggled to beat Norf at home

Reality is we haven’t got our house in order. Somethings were out of our control others self inflicted. This has been evident in that we haven’t beaten anyone of note.

Mind you, I was compiling the results with a Gold Coast supporting friend. But he does know his team, and seemed confident that the Suns will beat Geelong at Metricon in round 22.

You say it's not ideal.. but Shitney's draw is no easier than Collingwood .. infact it's harder.

Yeah saints draw is hard, but would have been even harder if they had lost to Carlton.

Collingwood have the easiest draw from here but will see what happens without Moore

Yeah, I thought that but we only have an A grade midfield, we have one A grade forward who gets little or no help. Our defence has possibly only one A grade this season in Dale and our tall defenders as a collective are C-. We also have never had our best team on the park. Having said that our coaching and team selection has been poor and justifies your call for a review.

It’s a result based industry where people are paid exorbitant wages. The club need to explain why this team performed worse than half off the rest of the league. We’re not the only team that has had injuries. We played off in a grand final last year. To go from second to outside the eight is just not good enough. People need to take responsibility

Yes we have lot of A graders but nearly all in one area the midfield. In total we have as many A graders as the better sides but we do not have the spread. That is why we nearly always win the inside 50 count but have had an very average season date. What do you think is the reason other than injuries?

I agree we’re underperforming. Not fully sure why but injuries must be a big part of it.

We have most of the cattle we should need but a bit light on defence as most of us seem to agree.

I think there will be a full scale BF Commission of Enquiry if we don’t make the finals so I’ll reserve any further opinion until then (if that’s how it pans out).

Collingwood have improved a hell of a lot under 2022 coach of the year McCrae, but the fact they are 2 games clear of us is an indictment of the entire football department this year.

We can’t afford a repeat next year.

Freo was a good effort... we haven't played them and I expect to beat them.

Carltank and Melbourne had large injury concerns and carltank lost weitering when on top in that game

We haven't had that luxury against them... belted Collingwood by 8 goals and should have been more

They have had an easier draw given they haven't made finals in a while and we had the hardest, as rated.

Yeah it's been a down year but there have been reasons and only stupid people wouldn't expect a bounce back next year, especially with some half decent recruiting and injury luck

Agree. This is the first year in a long time I genuinely hope we miss finals because it'll just wallpaper over cracks.

However, do I honestly think those cracks will be fixed? Not a chance in hell, because they never are. Why? Because our club doesn't have the balls to address them and make difficult decisions, like telling the coach who is really in charge or addressing areas of actually need.

Perhaps we could invest in players that are built like footballers instead of recruiting underdeveloped weaklings year after year who still look like underdeveloped weaklings at 25. Perhaps we could get some proper assistant coaches? An actual backline? A footy
team with a backbone? A football director who can make the tough calls? the list goes on.
