The nuffies argument is they are not his arms etc!! I think Patty needs 5 sets of arms and 10 sets of eyes and even then then the clowns will discredit any argument!
It is not hard to see what Cripps is trying to do honestly form that vision but at the end of the day his contact knocked a bloke out. Shame he hit a pea heart and not a Rowell type but outcome is everything now regardless of impact or general in play collisions.
Why is Ah Chee getting blamed here. It’s not his fault. There is still some duty of care. It’s the world we live in nowadays
cripps is captain,a good one , finally getting rid of murphy (little Smurf) was the best thing your team has done in a decade. He does however get dragged into too many onfield scraps, test of strengths, must have the last push in a push & shove. His push and shove with the meatball was embarrassing. He was no chance to win the ball in this latest clash with Archee, he lined him up, left the ground , goodnight Archee, enjoy your fortnight off Crippa.

i thought the Rioli bump was worse and more intentional than Cripps' bump.

Many others have a duty of care but get lucky cause they have a collision with a hard nut that plays on. I am not saying it is Ah Chee’s fault at all and if he felt it he did.
Ah Chee gets up and plays on this is not even a discussion or a thread etc and just 2 blokes having a decent crack at winnnig a hard ball 50/50 contest. This is the problem currently and Cripps is far from a dirty player or sniper.

And totally ignorant comment from you suggesting Cripps intentionally tried to take Ah Chee out. AFL is a contact sport and collisions happen.
Now Cripps has been rubbed out because he contested a 50/50 ball that has an unfortunate outcome…. We play a contact sport and this will happen but the current rules are a joke. Cripps has been playing 7 years and never had to front the tribunal ever so the dirty dog act can be just left out.
Strange how this thread is massively influenced by Lions / Demons and Pies supporters.
But anyway argue away and it is social media where everyone has a say.

50/50 contest as far as I was concerned. To me Cripps was going for the ball. Unfortunate Ah Chee was concussed, but it is a contact sport.
I like Cripps as a player and would take him at the Lions in a heartbeat, I don't view him as a thug/dirty player but he left the ground arrived late and collected a player in the head and concussed him, suspension was correct IMO.

Finally some common sense and i agree mate.
No one is to blame in that contest and the rules are the diabolical part of all this and up for conjecture.
I didn't suggest Cripps intentionally tried to take him out, you are spreading disinformation. IMO he intended to contest the ball but then realized he was going to arrive late so braced for impact, it was an error of judgement which resulted in a concussion, had to be suspended IMO.

He isn’t a sniper but it’s clear as day what happened here. Rest of his teams were as soft as can be and he had to do something whether that be legal or not. Cripps is unlucky but so have been 100 players this year…every club has copped an unlucky ban here and there.

Last time I looked RICH punched the ball into the air, Ah Chee put his arms up to take possession, while Cripps jumped into the air, turned side on and cracked his elbow into Ah Chee's head. Do I have to send you a link to the footage?
