Two question I’d love to know the answer for;
How the hell did David Barham read the room so wrong, it’s not like Clarkos manager James Henderson isn’t a straight shooter, he would’ve established the lay of the land pretty well, was Barham just hearing what he wanted to hear?
And the second, where the hell were all the leaks coming from, should’ve been only a couple of people involved in preliminary discussions, they weren’t realistically going anywhere, so why did every media outlet know about it? The whole exercise seemed to be an ego trip, without even realising there’d be real world consequences.

Because..regardless of all the Clarko stuff ..they are going to sack Rutten anyway

Think it was around the Sydney game (Luke parker one) clarkson expressed his interest to coach Essendon and the club was keen to get the ball rolling but Brasher was a Rutten supporter and stopped those talks. he wanted Essendon to stick with Rutten and stay the course

If we removed Brasher back then and sacked Rutten we would probably had clarkson but we left it too late

It’s honestly unbelievable that a club with I don’t know 100mil a year turn over is run like this. You could probably pull a couple of peoples names out of the local rsl meat tray raffle and have a more coordinated strategy
