Last week straight after Brisbane beat Melbourne, I posted that the
Lions had played their grand final and would WITHOUT DOUBT,
fall over this week. To all the people who disagreed, lambasted,
abused and laughed at the comment, let me hear from you now.

The game is well & truly over and look who decides to bob up and kick a couple of goals ...... Hipwood !!

Why the feck weren't you extracting a digit like that in the first half ...... just not desperate enough for a whole game, will always be a passenger but beat up the weaker teams.

And we have also seen Daniher pick up some cheap touches now as well, too friggen' late Joe, you are a big unit but you refuse to play in a physical manner that plenty of other guys would if they were that size.

Lions have some hard work to do in the off-season, Andrews is struggling in the key defensive post due to the lack of support & Gardiner just makes too many basic errors IMO. They persist with Payne in a near key role but he should be taking the fourth or fifth forward, he's not a bad player just being asked to play above his level every week.

You are fantastic! Credit to you.

Getting warmer
Any 'sponsor' in particular you'd care to mention?
Why are 5 players moving to Collingwood this offseason?
What kind of third party deal are they getting, since that is the only reason you seem to think players select clubs

Huge crossroads for the Lions now.

Will lose McStay & probably Gardiner. Not big names but it will force them to either change the structure/game plan or go hunting for ready made replacements.

They could stay up and about with this group or they might mentally fall off a cliff for a season ala Port.

Big Clubs literally sell their clubs as 'play for us and we'll introduce you to a lot of our supporters'
