He was an arrogant and entitled prick. He would of still played for the crows afl side eventually. Just had to do it under our rules which was fair enough.
People really think after all his (public) indedescretions the club should have kept him?
The key word is public
You can absorb a few bad calls if you're making lots more good ones. Why did St Kilda not keep Paddy McCartin on their list and support him through concussion issues?
Why did Carlton not keep Liam Jones on their list and support him through his vaccination stance?
Why do clubs not match restricted FA offers, e.g. Isaac Smith?
The list is endless where players are not the right fit for the club at the time, but may have success elsewhere.
When I saw the photo of him sitting on a couch at a party I remember thinking.. is this a fxxkn piss take?.. the club should tell channel 7 (I think it was them that broke the story) to go fxxk themselves.Tbh honest. When you heard of his last indiscretion, what did you think?
I thought geez that’s about done.
I can assure you no video surveillance and mobile phones will be allowed in.It would be interesting to know how many nose beers the Geelong lads that won the premiership today will be enjoying over the coming days..
hope the local dealers in Geelong are stocked up ready for the increase in demand..

I dont see many clubs (before the year hes just had) keeping him im sorry but i just dont. And ive always thought he had the talent to make itNice dog whistle
Geez, if you don’t mind..Can you rewrite that, it barely makes sense. Why so salty ... stengle will never had any success and might even been on the delist pile if he didn't move to geelong ... afc are not geelong.
Stengle should have been immediately sacked instead of getting another chance to play in the SANFL for a year and earn back our trust after his 2nd chance with B.Crouch and if it was his idea to get the cocaine, it possibly cost us a band 1 compensation as no other club wanted B.Crouch after his 1st indiscretion beside the Saints and any power we had in the trade that we were going to match went out the door. When I saw the photo of him sitting on a couch at a party I remember thinking.. is this a fxxkn piss take?.. the club should tell channel 7 (I think it was them that broke the story) to go fxxk themselves.
did the police chase him down for that photo?… nope. It was the media being ambulance chasing flogs and our club crumbled like a bunch of cowards terrified at a the first sign of bad publicity like it always has.

Afc is a sh1t club ... we have no leadership on or off field ... that about sums it up.Geez, if you don’t mind..Can you rewrite that, it barely makes sense.
Geez you write some fxxkn nonsense..Stengle should have been immediately sacked instead of getting another chance to play in the SANFL for a year and earn back our trust after his 2nd chance with B.Crouch and if it was his idea to get the cocaine, it possibly cost us a band 1 compensation as no other club wanted B.Crouch after his 1st indiscretion beside the Saints and any power we had in the trade that we were going to match went out the door.
Can't follow it bruh or getting too old???? It's just basic logic and football knowledge.Geez you write some fxxkn nonsense..
We probably would’ve won 3 or 4 more games this year with a half decent small forward on the list..Afc is a sh1t club ... we have no leadership on or off field ... that about sums it up.
No we wouldn't.We probably would’ve won 3 or 4 more games this year with a half decent small forward on the list..
instead we had McHenry, Rowe and Murphy.. go and look up how many goals those three kicked between them this year and see how that worked out for us!..
Careful you’ll get dobbed onGeez you write some fxxkn nonsense..

The "discussions" would have been us trying to avoid paying him any salary after sacking him only to discover we have to pay him every cent of his contract to play at a SANFL club, before we gift him to Geelong for free where he instantly becomes All Australian and a premiership playerdoes anyone know what actually went down at the club? obviously there were multiple indiscretions across a relatively short timeframe, but from memory it was months of “discussions” before the club came to the conclusion to delist him
