Roos board still confident of Clark
If we get anything less that pick 3 (9back) I would be very disappointed.
I still think that’s too much but happy to get a generational talent.

Some rubbish on their site about a future second and a 40s pick.
If someone knows anything regarding Clark it’s time to put us at ease…can’t say I trust the Gags with this one.

Hoping that is the future second and pick 40…it’s garbage
Dunno what you're on about I just saw a snippet in the whispers thread. I don't pay any attention to the trade period, biggest two weeks of fluff I can imagine.

Grundy for pick 27
Bowes + 7 for a future 3rd

But hey... Zaine Cordy for free! Am I right folks?!?
Grundy plus a mill for 5
Bowes plus 850 k over two and didn't want to come to us

Cordy, zero dp's and what 500k a year? Good deal, but hey always greener

Just a rumor floated on north board that’s what was offered for Clark
My hope is we said no to the future 2nd and 40 for Clark. All be it it will be pick 19 next year.

He didn't rule it out fully. Made sure he left the door open slightly.
I reckon they'll continue to try. Be a matter of whether they can satisfy the Saints.

Norf have said the Clark deal is closed and wont happen

Rawlings said it
But when asked on SEN Breakfast about a trade for Clark, list and recruiting manager Brady Rawlings stated the club will keep discussions going with the Saints.

“He’s certainly someone we’ve got interest in, he’s also had a bit of a bad run the last couple of years (with injuries), he’s been quite unlucky. We think he’s an absolute talent who could really help us, we got the feeling he might be gettable and we felt the door was ajar there and maybe that’s closed now,” Rawlings explained.

Leaves it’s open and clearly says they want to talk to us.

Yeah I read it that way too. Trying to temper expectations on their part but also leaving the possibility there that it could happen.

Raw & unpasteurised jersey milk for me thank you.
Imagine drinking an estrogenic waste product lmao.
You should be going straight to the source if you're a real man. Lay down and start sucking.

He defs was gettable a few weeks ago, but it feels as if our stance has changed.

Ah I only saw the door closed bit.

I would be surprised to see North give up pick 3 in any trade circumstances.

I wonder if we would be prepared to accept Ports future 1st and a sweetener like Norths futue 3rd or a Tristan Xerri type player?

Also some how the club still needs to fill the tall forward/2nd ruckman they stated they were chasing at the start of the trade week?

Its reported that Melbourne are now chasing Schache as they expect to lose Weideman. Our options are quickly narrowing?

Roos next years first for our next years 2nd and Clarke
They can back them selves and hate on us all of next year
If they finish 9th that’s their pick 10 for our 18 if we finish last .
Not a bad deal for them .
I'd love to get our hands on their future first but surely they'd never do it.

We really seem to have absolutely whiffed on anything resembling a need or a good deal but then got Cordy at the same size as Howard for no reason other than depth.

It’s not a “bad” trade period cause we haven’t lost anything but it can’t be good cause we haven’t done anything.

I still can’t believe no one managed to convince Bowes that getting his $750k a year for two (or even extending it to four for the same or slightly less) and coming to a team with a spot for him was better than going to Geelong where I actually seen him in the ones for less money… its ****ing staggering

Future 3rd for pick 7 alone is worth it. FFS Would take Cale Morton on $800k for 2 years just to get that deal.
Ridiculous how this has even happened.

Well at least we know for sure now the whole "AFL's stamp of approval" thing was always rubbish. Such a crazily one sided trade simply should not be allowed regardless of the salaries changing hands. Especially since it involves picks going both ways and the AFL has a value system placed on each pick.

Trade radio said 90% fluff and it’s not happening. Why are so many barracking for a lousy deal to trade out such a talented player, quite bizarre imo.
