Heard this on radio last week as well, so seems to have legs. I can't imagine the broadcasters will be against an extra round, but given it wasn't part of the TV rights agreement I'm assuming there are a few legalities to wade through before finalising.

However if SA does get it we should campaign hard for an "away" game in SA

Maybe not three triple headers actually. I'd schedule North vs Hawthorn in Coober Pedy as revenge for Tasmania trips, Geelong vs St Kilda in the remote APY lands on a dirt oval, and of course Gold Coast vs GWS at 9am on a Friday at a suburban oval

Way too close to Adelaide Airport. Make them travel to the middle of nowhere... like Coober Pedy.
