Pickett has been charged by WA Police with four counts of aggravated burglary, with three counts of stealing and three counts of criminal damage among his other charges.
The alleged offences took place between December 2022 and January 2023.
Pickett has a “strong intent” to defend himself, his manager Anthony Van Der Wielen told 7NEWS in a statement.

Racist comments will immediately cop a long break from Bigfooty, discuss the issue not the skin colour or race.
Thank you.

P.S This thread has nothing to do with the Clarkson/Racism review discussion.
This thread is not the place to discuss the prison system and prisoner rehabilitation, you can take that to the SRP board.
This is the scandals and rumours board only, please stay on topic in here.

His career is not over, he'll be out on bail and back in Melbourne by Wednesday.

Rumour coming out of Punt Rd is that Pickett may now be public enemy #1 in regards to Shai Bolton’s premiership medals that vanished when his house was burgled.

Unsubstantiated of course but that’s how it goes..
Its Over

Title needs fixing:
Marlion Pickett - In Custody for multiple offences.... again

In real short terms:

Robbery = person

Burglary = premesis

Aggravated Burglary = premises with person present (whether they knew for sure or were reckless in not knowing, eg. lights on, car in driveway, etc), or intent to damage / assault someone
Yeah but it's just a charge and many charges are bullshit and end up getting dropped.

"Aggravated" could just mean carrying something vaguely like a "weapon" .

Criminal damage problems means they broke a lock.or a window something.

So if they broke a lock with a hammer on a factory door or something like that

That might get U a charge of aggravated burglary and criminal damage in the first instance

Criminal damage can be absolutely sweet FA like tagging something.

Could be a body corporate
So it sounds like it's a body corporate does it? Clutching a bit mate. A very far stretch to claim that "it doesn't sound like there are any victims" on the receiving end of aggrevated burglary and criminal damage charges.

No matter what degree the cost is in dollar terms there is an inconvenience and intrusion placed upon them to be dealt with that the offender/s had no regard for.

I doubt anything is vague about these charges. Would be some serious out of pocket expenses if this case falls through.

Aggravated burglary is defined by either a victim being on the premises or if the offender was carrying a weapon.

So if he did it he either intended to intimidate and subdue any person he came across physically or he was carrying a weapon with which he intended to beat, stab or shoot anyone he ran into.

But yeah it could be nothing.

Cops put mayo on charges all the time..

Are U saying they may have been more careful with the charges because of who he is?

U might be right there. But can also go the other way.

Will wait and see.

Could be they had a hammer to break a lock on a factory door.

That's aggravated burglary.

Not saying it's nothing but it could be not that bad.

Also cops usually add on a more serious charge that they can't prove to get people to negotiate.

So there's that .

Its not some useless hack with the world up against him, adding on stupid charges would be plain ******* stupid in a case like this. They more likely whittled it down and went **** that's the best we can do he's done for all money.
