Time for AFL, Collingwood, Ticketek to show their cards:

• how many P1, P2, P3 members
• how many registered for GF tickets
• how many seats were available to be issued
• for P1 registrations, how many said "any", and how many said "no standing room"
• for P1, how many of each category issued
• same for P2, P3
• how many credit card declines

Seems to be a hell of a lot of discontent with the ballot allocation and process brewing online.

I suspect a lot chose 'no standing room' and are realising their mistake now .. many did not seem aware of the fine print on choosing this option, so it seems some didn't read the info provided.

Regardless, it doesn't seem right that people with Priority 2 & 3 are getting better seating than Priority 1.

Major stuff up by Ticketek & whatever system they use.

Exactly. This is not the club's fault. It's the Ticketek system.

i doubt they could redraw. They wouldn’t be able to refund 17,500 people, run the ballot again, issue tickets by Thursday/Friday.

And that’s assuming the system works, if it runs this way someone would have to reconfigure the back end and test it in time as well otherwise the same thing would happen

Probably not possible to have a redraw. Funds have already been deducted from bank accounts. All these transactions would need to reversed. I really feel for P 1 members that missed out. Would it be possible to have the returned tickets allocated to these members?

Someone will reply to this defending his right to bullshit people but hes bullshitting and putting stuff out there thats misinformation. He was listening to to 3aw as i was and heard McClure mention that the club, the AFL and ticktek are discussing this, and he quickly then rushed to tweet it without the source to make himself look like it was his info then added some extra mayo about a recount that will only spread even though he has no idea.

I paid through the nose for a GF Plus Pass a couple of months back, my ticket is in Q53 (Category 4).

And then imagine if people who have booked flights & accommodation because they've been allocated tickets in this ballot, only to miss out on a redraw..?!

It should be the solution every year. Drop the corporate tickets and allocations from other clubs from 25k to 5k and give those extra money 10k each to the two competing clubs. I’d also take more away from the MCC but realistically that’s not happening.

Do they realise no one has their ticket yet via this system? Only the money has been deducted.

And it's seems some who were stressed they missed an allocation because money had not yet been deducted yesterday...are starting to have the funds processed today.

Maybe some have jumped the gun assuming they'd missed out and there was just a delay in processing funds.

There would have been fencing plans in place for the relocated AFLW game, so wouldn’t require any organising to install
