Regardless, that's what it said. It said very clearly, that tickets could not be guaranteed if you did not select 'any' instead of 'no standing room'.

I'm also Priority 1 and there was no way I was taking any chances missing out on a ticket. So I selected 'any'.

Might not as well bother being a Legends Member then

I suggest calling your bank in the morning to double check that everything is setup correctly for the payment to go though.

I checked the Account today and I saw $400 in Balance but did not see the - in front of it

Nah im talking corporate ticket packages

Ive given up hope ill get a ticket through the ballot so trying to see other options landing a ticket

They care way more about corporate ticket packages then real fans

I'm not at home with the info in front of me, but there were 2 selections for Priority 1. One was excluding standing room. It was advised NOT to choose that one as they could guarantee your ticket if all seats were exhausted by the time your registration was processed.
Yes you are correct EM, but for us, being older members a couple of our group can't stand, they struggle with walking so standing room is no good. The joys of getting old !!

It was the chance you had to take, I guess. It didn't mean you would necessarily be getting a standing room ticket, but chances were higher you'd miss out altogether if you didn't choose to include the standing room option.

Joke that lower Levels get Seats but Top Members either Stand or Not Coming.

JOKE

$400 might not be enough. Category 1-3 are all above $400 and if you drew one of those it wouldn’t be enough. You might need to put another $50 in.

Said it tried to take $371 out of my Account but can't see it in Bank Account only a E-Mail

Expensive Membership guarantees a ticket not the best seats possible. Paying more money doesn't make you any more deserving. You would have got great seats all year long too.

It's a shit system already that the wealthy get guaranteed access. I'm glad if some p3 got some great seats.

Bottom line, it seems there's 17,000 tickets in total to be allocated for club members. No wonder people are livid.

Not sure this is entirely a ticketek issue.

The club letter mentioned an accessible seat option for those with a medical reason

Are you basically expected to stand the whole time at a live site or will there be seating provider or are you able to bring seating? I just have a bit of trouble with standing for long periods of time. If that's the case I'd probably book a pub.

EM, I chose best available, no standing room. Not sure what the "any" category was? I had 8 P1 barcodes to register and we have Cat 3 tickets based on the amount debited to my CC. Below is from the email I received once I had registered.

Collingwood Members please note:
This purchase is your registration in the 2023 Toyota AFL Grand Final Collingwood member ballot. It is not a ticket.
Should Collingwood qualify for the 2023 Toyota AFL Grand Final, tickets will be allocated based on your Priority Group:
Priority 1 Member Allocation - There are sufficient tickets to cover all members in this group who register. Should Collingwood play, you will be allocated a ticket (subject to payment being approved and ticket preference selected at time of registration).

You and all the other P1 members should also have been guaranteed a ticket, just not any specific category. It is very strange if P1 members missed out!!
The disclaimer was clear as day. As long as you selected the option that may have resulted in standing room being allocated to you, you would be guaranteed a ticket.

Any other assumptions P1 members made about entitlement to a superior ticket to lower priority members appears to have been misplaced. Otherwise there was no need for the disclaimer at all.

In electing to not take a standing room ticket if allocated it appears the stance was essentially then that such members were preferring to not attend rather than stand.

I personally would’ve expected the categorisation of tickets should’ve followed the priority hierarchy, but perhaps this wasn’t how it played out given posting here indicating P2 or P3 members being allocated seats. On appearances it seems the balloting occurred, and then all seats may have been randomly assigned for all those that achieved a ticket. Again, just an assumption on the facts as presented in the thread.

I don’t agree with that distribution methodology but that’s my best guess at how they might have been distributed?

IF I can't get a Ticket I probably just watch it at Home or with 1 of my Support Workers who takes me to Games

Guess I’ll put it out there

If anyone was lucky enough to get 2 or more tickets but ends up unlucky enough to not be able to go for whatever reason, feel free to DM me

I’ll take them off your hands so my wife and her dad can go

It is usually set up on the oval and people bring their own seats, sit on the ground, etc and no requirement to stand the whole time. That’s what has occurred in previous years - think of it like going to an outdoor music event like A Day on the Green. It won’t be like the Fed Square live site where everybody stands up on the uneven cobbles.
