Hello Tiger fans!

The embedded resources below are kept up to date by the trade board mods (as much as possible – we are human after all). Enjoy!

Cal Twomey said Hawks are driving a hard bargain on Koschitzke and the clubs are far apart at the moment. He can see it dragging out to the latter stages of the trade period
It'll be the only trade we do

Cant wait.

It's because he's 22 - the youngest free agent since FA came into the AFL - the factor into our Chol compensation too.

So we did benefit from that also.
Exactly, age is a heavy weighting in the extrapolation.

You'd think it's just posturing.

Hawks shooting themselves in the foot playing hardball over a player they kept in the VFL and is out of contract.

Sure, you can do that but then don't complain when Gold Coast asks for a lot when you're trying to get a contracted Chol and you've offered him a 5 year deal.

Silly.

I'm not stressed about the Kozi deal if Hawthorn want to dig their heels in a bit.
We held firm on the Hopper deal when GWS were trying to fish for more. In hindsight, we overpaid but at the time we made them look silly.

I have zero concerns about our ability to get the deal done and to only give up what is fair and reasonable.

He later followed it up by saying he expects him to leave Melbourne, but isn't sure where.

I think the issue is Melbourne wants him out, but other clubs aren't keen to pick up his contract.

Someone will probably come in at the end and get him for pretty much nothing provided they are happy to take his contract.

We can just do what we did with Houli and pop him in the PSD with terms on his head if the Hawks want too much for a fringe player.

The Hawks weren't willing to give him more than a one year deal. I dunno what we're giving him, but say it's three years the Hawks aren't going to pick him against his will and be stuck with a player they don't rate.

Hawthorn have picked up that we have a reputation for being easy/soft to deal with,so they are just trying to see if they can squeeze us for something any other club wouldn't cough up.
That's earned though - just ask Dodoro! We earned the right to good negotiations with the GC.

Just say the word PSD.
