I think the fact the AFL has demanded the stadium be roofed has cut down the capacity. 40/50k would probably add a lot to the cost.

Why do they even bother asking the AFL for explanation on these things? They pretty much always back the umpires decision no matter what. That’s why umpiring is so trash, because they’re always right according to their bosses.
