I would've changed my tip to Geelong if I knew of the conditions. Brisbane have talent, but are not a smart side compared to Geelong who are playing to the conditions.
Apparently similar game experience as Fremantle but with the same number of players under 50 games.

Their rebuild has Reid, Ginbey, Hewitt and maybe Chesser as their midfield battery. That is going to be a very very good on ball division to built their next premiership side aroundWC have 8 premiership players - plus Kelly. Not sure we can say they have gone past us just yet…I mean give it until mid year at least
And we lost to Fremantle badly. The loss to Fremantle based on this result suggests we are even worse than we thought. Nicks needs to POQ
Fremantle also loss to Port Power and Carlton away on consecutive weeks by less than a goal.

West Coast's list was never as bad as their results suggested
Yes they have some older players. But many of them are proven good players, like McGovern and Kelly. Couple of star young mids. Allen up forward when he's not injured. Barrass is a superb defender.

I picked West Coast and Geelong tonight. Taking my tally to 5 out of 6 correct (got GWS incorrect over Carlton). I have picked Gold Coast and Hawthorn tomorrow.
Eagles flying high over a stumbling Dockers. I think West Coast are going to win at least 10 games this year if they keep this up.
Geelong, a defensive masterpiece in the wet in Brisbane. 5 rushed behinds to the Lions. Brisbane have dominated possession but Geelong have been superb on the defensive end. Great side, they are going to be hard to stop.

I was meaning its more that they have prioritised getting top end drafted mids in for their rebuild...a well worn path
