Has nearly a decade of his prime left. When it is all said and done will likely be a multiple premiership player. Stands up in finals so likely jags a Norm Smith or three. Proved his greatness in September last year having won the prestigious Gary Ayres Medal.

Should he continue at the same level I can see no reason as to why Walsh couldn't be the GOAT. And if not the best of all-time, certainly the best of his generation.

As a pisstake to the Daicos thread, most raise there eyebrows at that thread, Daicos has at least legitimately made a start to his career which is worthy of a conversation, this however is just laughable, he isn’t even the best player in his team.

The onus is up to him to prove otherwise. I don’t see it happening many better players have tried and couldn’t do it.

The bigger issue is, we have so many future GOAT's running around in today's game, the term GOAT is now rubbish. Walsh is a seriously good player but premierships are very hard to win, and you have him winning multiple times. A lot of if's, but's and maybe's plus downplaying some stats with GAJ.

At the moment, I think Walsh will be a Carlton great and play over 300 games.
