Ablett was younger than Walsh is now all through 2007 when he won pretty much everything

So you are suggesting Walsh has a massive second half of the year? Can't wait.

You say that because you know full well Daicos is on the path to greatness whereas Walsh, with his lack of goal scoring prowess and footy smarts, is a step below.
You do this because you are afraid someone like Nick will surpass your idol.
One is a great finals player. The other isn’t. I don’t like players who don’t perform under the highest of pressures. Nick is one of them, like so many before him including GAJ.
Walsh won a Gary Ayers award WITHOUT even playing in the GF. That’s Uber impressive and something Nick will never achieve in his career. That’s why I say what I say.
So Ablett had a premiership (including two finals BOGs), Brownlow, Coaches MVP and Players MVP by the time he was Walsh's current age, with one season played in midfield.Ablett was younger than Walsh is now all through 2007 when he won pretty much everything

You do realise Daicos only played 2 finals in 2023 having missed the previous 5 games with an knee injury and was rushed back early. One is a great finals player. The other isn’t. And was one of the best in the GF including being 3rd in the Norm Smith.
Do you always make things up?
You know Bay 13 exists right?GOAT = the greatest of all time by the way.
Gary Ablett Jr who is often put in the GOAT discussions at 23 had:
So at the same age, Sam Walsh is unquestionably miles ahead of Gary Ablett Jr. Arguably the fittest player in the comp. Elite on both feet. Can play inside. Outside. Kicks goals. Runs both ways. Tough as nails. Tackles hard. The complete player.
- 0x Premierships (Walsh is about to get 1)
- 0 Brownlow medals (Walsh would probably already have 1 if it wasn't for Cripps)
- 0x Rising Star (Walsh has 1)
- 0x All Australians (Walsh has 1)
- 0x Mark of the Year (Walsh has 1)
- 0x B&F's (Walsh has 1)
- 0x AFLCA Best Young Player (Walsh has 1)
- 0x Gary Ayres Medals (Walsh has 1)
- 16 Brownlow votes (Walsh has 63)
Has nearly a decade of his prime left. When it is all said and done will likely be a multiple premiership player. Stands up in finals so likely jags a Norm Smith or three. Proved his greatness in September last year having won the prestigious Gary Ayres Medal.
Should he continue at the same level I can see no reason as to why Walsh couldn't be the GOAT. And if not the best of all-time, certainly the best of his generation.
What do y'all think?
Yet, when the game was on the line, Daicos burned him to kick the winning goal....Only 3rd best in just one game? Whoopdee doo.
Sam Walsh was the best player in the entire 2023 finals series. Including all your "premiership heroes".

GAJ was unbelievably good.Cause Gary was basically a forward pocket until 2007.

New draft pick comes in and is pivotal in taking the 17th team to the Preliminary final in his 1st year, and then a Premiership in his second.Daicos has just most likely played in his only GF in his career.
The onus is up to him to prove otherwise. I don’t see it happening many better players have tried and couldn’t do it.

We are not the Richmond Football Club. We play regular finals and Grand Finals. Daicos will see more and likely add a Norm Smith.
Good to see the Tigers reassuming their rightful position near the bottom of the ladder.

wrong. No you defs aren’t the Richmond footy club. You only made dynasties when most of the men were starving or went to war
Your 2021 team still had a core group of players that played in GFs and prelims. You just had one off year. Daicos didn’t have that much impact.
