My 6 year son was diagnosed with cancer in May, and my wife and I spent 1 month in Ronald McDonald house going over to QCH where he was getting treatment. Fair to say it's been a tough year, and we are still going through regular chemo 9 months later. I feel like I'm only now, after watching this video,appreciating the amazing effort from the team and coaches to win this premiership. What a fantastic effort, GO LIONS!!

I can’t imagine being in your position, and I’m glad that the Lions were able to bring a little bit of light for you in such a trying year. I’ve just watched the grand final for the 800th time. We had so many players who had multiple high impact touches throughout the game. Hipwood is one who had all of those really nice touches which started scoring chains.

Also Charlie was celebrating at halftime you can see it on his face lmao.

As 2024 ends, I want to thank people on this board for joining me on a ride that culminated in the GF victory. We made the Swans look terrible - so much so that I couldn't believe it was happening.

To be honest, I wasn't sure whether we would win another men's GF but I am so glad we did. Especially after the disappointment of 2023 and for everyone who weren't able to appreciate the threepeat. This success will help to wipe our debt and, an Olympics fiasco not withstanding, set the club for the next 10 years plus.

No reason we can't be playing late in the finals in 2025 as well. Go Lions!
