Similar comments are appearing in other threads. I agree, played in snatches through the game it was brilliant. Helps to define being a Wharfie. This was a serious chance of being our theme song as we set up for 1997. I think we made the right choice but using the two in conjunction like last night really adds to the experience of being at the game.

From John Schumann's website. Only the chorus has been changed to his 2002 One True Game song. I remember he launched it on The Footy Show and thought what a great footy song. Whenever I returned to SA and listened to the start of MMM's footy coverage they always play the chorus as part of their intro music.
