Brownlow Medallist
Corey Warner watch. Great VFL stats. Maybe with Mills/Gulden out he gets some time closer to the ball.
Hanily sub? Sub debut feels like a very Sydney Swans thing to do.

I'm hearing Wil Parker is not far away as a DEF player @ $180K .....any intel ?My predictions for the final benches:
GWS: Stone, Brown, Leake, Gruzewski
Sub = Wehr
Pies: the top line
Sub = Allan
I really rate Parker, but I don’t expect him to play early. He’ll definitely get games later on, in saying that he’s probably too expensive.I'm hearing Wil Parker is not far away as a DEF player @ $180K .....any intel ?
I personally don’t see why he gets games later on. Our back 7 or so are pretty sorted.I really rate Parker, but I don’t expect him to play early. He’ll definitely get games later on, in saying that he’s probably too expensive.

I hear the AFL are also shifting the game to a neutral venue - Kuta Beach.People in charge of the AFL are like politicians, they fail their way up to the top.
Imagine Gold Coast and Essendon cant make the finals then its a dead game.
A round 24 match with a crowd of 4,000.
Don't Hawthorn play half their home games in Tasmania?I hear the AFL are also shifting the game to a neutral venue - Kuta Beach.
Just thinking of the inevitable injuriesI personally don’t see why he gets games later on. Our back 7 or so are pretty sorted.
He’ll have to earn them that’s for sure

It's still just a game ..... I sometimes think, and I'm a culprit, we can take it all too seriously ...just find the fun & camaraderie that comes with this boardThis last two weeks of the pre season have sapped all my interest in sc. so much has changed, all the planning was irrelevant. Hope it comes back by next week.
I hear ya, my PODs that we're previously 1-5% are now 10, 20, 30% owned, since the practice matches. Talking shit on here keeps it fun though.This last two weeks of the pre season have sapped all my interest in sc. so much has changed, all the planning was irrelevant. Bloody oath. I don’t reckon I’ve seen a year where due to injuries every team seems the same.I hear ya, my PODs that we're previously 1-5% are now 10, 20, 30% owned, since the practice matches. Talking shit on here keeps it fun though.

Great feedback .....100% agree on keeping ownership invisible until after R1It's not just injuries, it was the same last year.
-Lack of cheap rookies (can't have variety when we're forced to spend so much on rookies)
-Ownership % visible (this one kills me, ownership % should not be visible until AFTER round 1 is finished)
-SC content creators
-This forum
-Rd0 (not just players that do well in rd0, but the byes forcing us not to pick certain players)
Ownership % is a big one. People refuse to anti-pod players who are 40-50%. If there was no ownership visible, there'd be a lot more PODs.
When would the Suns and Dons have their mid season bye?Geelongs bye moved from round 16 to round 14 and play Essendon in round 16 instead of round 14 is all it would have took to have Suns vs Essendon in round 14.
The AFL always chooses the worst possible option.
Just have to accept this year is a trading year with all the similar starting teams. May the best trader winI hear ya, my PODs that we're previously 1-5% are now 10, 20, 30% owned, since the practice matches. Talking shit on here keeps it fun though.

Just on content creators, I used to love cross-referencing the different POV's ....however they now have group chats going, so a lot of the commentary is being sung from the same hymn book ....that diversity of opinion is lacking
However that said ...it's still a trading game
That's why Daicos keeps finding his way back into my team, even though I want/wanted Brayshaw in that spot.Agree on ownership % too. It's good to go against the grain but sometimes you are now forced into it.
There are only so many SC relevant players though. Expecting huge variety is unrealistic.It's not just injuries, it was the same last year.

Takes some guts to anti-POD a 64% ownership guy who can pull out your 160-180s, especially when the majority of the comp will have him as captain most weeks.
That's another thing actually – I preferred when you couldn't see captaincy percentages too. Just makes more and more people play it safe (and it becomes much harder to make up ground when you're chasing the leaders).
