Jones unfortunately just kept showing he is just a C grade player.

Zach got absolutely torched Everytime he was on or responsible for Nick


Margin was probably about right for a game where we played a quarter.
Good exposure for some players, another bit of info on others to show they just can't do it.

I'm probably alone but I thought we were poor. Flat start to the game.. pies pressure was off the charts and we didn't react at all. Again I question the tactical coaching of Scott who appears to not have any plans.

Good to see a little fight back and then to pull our noses in front. Pies then responded and we didn't put much of a fight after that. Our forwardline is non-functional. our structures are poor. Our zone defence is woeful.. only times we look half decent is when we do short stints of man on man.

We let Daicos x 2 just run around with their own footy all day.. I know that modern footy is a bit russian roulette but I thought we needed to put a bit more time into both of them.

And whilst they weren't the difference today.. Sidebottom and Pendles are still better than most of our list.. I am so sick of watching them beat us. FFS they have to retire soon.. surely.

Moral of the story.. we are a very poor football club, poor list and an absolute mile off the pace tactically, structurally and talent.

We showed a lot of fight. We had a few good players missing. Umpires shocking as usual. Pies got a few arsey goals.On track for a pick 5-6 pick at the draft for a mid range pick who can't kick. 91000 on a wet day. Business as usual at EFC. No worries.

Young kids did good - loved the efforts of Robbo, Caddy, Reidy, Hobbsy

Butchered the ball - MIDS got pantsed and OUTWORKED which was the most disappointing thing for me - Zerrett and Setters the chief butchers. Their pressure and tackling was far superior

Gresh needs to be dropped and Jones either plays deep forward or not at all

Big thing I’ve noticed slowly creep into our game is we have lost the ability to have a flood of forward handballs to open the game up, Collingwood looked amazing when they were streaming forward, we win the ball at the coalface but the forward flow of handballs coming out of the stoppage seems to be have gone from our game

Was expected to lose but good to see the emerging talent in Durham, Caddy, Reid leading the way. Sidebottom's turnaround in form is unbelievable, looked like he should retire last year but something in his preparation has obviously changed that

The scoreline after we hit the front says everything about how defeatist our culture continues to be. The ****ing work isn’t done once you get the lead…

Or you could gloss over the fact we hit the front at all. We could've lost this by 80+

This team has more ticker than many want to admit. But of course, they're carrying the sins of previous Essendon failures, so everything is magnified 10x

Positives: Reid is incredible, him and Ridley will be a dynamic duo. Was glad to see some fight for half the game.

Negatives: Scott picks the worst wet weather teams, and we don't know how to game plan in the wet. Keeping our #1 clearance player on the bench for most of the 4th when the cake was there to be won was diabolical too.

Went about as expected. They jumped us, we clawed back, they kicked away. Too big, too skilled and they were prepared to take the game on when they needed to.
Selection seemed off, but it wouldn't have made a difference.

They are a good footy team and a great watch, but jeez it's hard to watch Cllingwood live when you have to hear their chuckle**** supporters

Oldest v youngest and it looked it. We suck in the rain as usual. Also need to go into wet games with the mindset of territory from the outset.

Reid was great. Caddy 2 goals and competed well. Future is there.
