Could be wrong here - but I think our clubs first ever game was against Richmond, hence why the 100 year stuff was chosen for today. Just unfortunate it was a Sunday. Thought it was pretty much par crowd wise to be honest for a Sunday 3:20 against a club that’s probably bottom 3

Hawks just did as they pleased for most of the game, if not for goal kicking early this was a 90+ point mauling in the making.

As for the usual suspects melting about free kicks, you’d have to be pretty bloody simple and or damaged by Hawthorn to think that some of the most blatant and undisciplined frees that were paid today shouldn’t be paid simply because of the jumper they were wearing.

Hawthorn pay money to the umpires before their matches. Sicily does it using a mirror during the coin toss. Oppo captains so far unaware but sometimes the people who toss the coin also have to paid off or silenced. Please don’t tell anyone.

It wasn't but clearly Hawks are going to be hard to beat with a clear bias of umpiring.
Barass & Battle very good at tunneling forwards under the ball/ impeding and arm chopping without giving away the frees but their very good at getting away with it.
Don't worry we were goood at it once too with Rance, Astbury and Grimes. you might have been able to remember when we were beating u guys with similar tactics.
