Haha yes, my uncle started working at 7 as a camera man, ended up Operations manager.
I used to go in Saturday mornings, they had a camera set up and I had this black felt board with white solid plastic letters and numbers you could stick on the felt board.
As the scores changed I’d update the board and put it on a stand in front of the camera and it would come up on the tv screen.
They used to pay me by cheque from memory it was around $15 haha big money in the late 60s for a kid.

Yeah remember doing the 70 Carlton v Collingwood Grand Final.
Got to see it live on TV in the studio, was a real big deal as they would replay it later on tv.

And I thought I was the only one who could not find last year's streaming service. As far as I can tell if the game isn't shown direct on Seven it is not possible to watch it live. I can catch highlights but nothing else.

7+ is also shit. Early this morning I went to stream last night's GWS v Port game via my PC and could not connect. The stream wanted my location which I clicked as an Allow but then I could not get a connection. I suspect it was too soon and the game had not been loaded. Channel Seven are bad news as far as AFL coverage is concerned.

I had recorded the game on Foxtel so it did not matter but Seven are shit.
