I've been a big fan of Aish since we got him, he's what I consider an A-grade role-player. Not a game-breaking talent, but consistently good to very good.

I was a big fan of Aish at Collingwood and sad to see him go. He has been good at the Dockers but his name came up in convo and he's only played 2 games this year. Is he injured?

He's depth at the moment. Probably delisted at the end of the season.

Bit of a victim of being a jack of all trades but master of none.

Don’t even think he necessarily got very bad or anything either. Can’t remember any game where people were calling for him to be dropped. Just has fallen behind guys like Worner and Wagner who they’ve decided to prioritise instead

A fraction too slow for modern football.

Not brilliant defensively, not great at rebounding the football, if you are not locking down on the best small forward you need to be good at rebounding the ball.

A bit like JOM, I think once he left the midfield he was in trouble.

He had a down 3-4 weeks between rounds 19-22 2024. Wagner, Walker and Clark were the preferred smaller backmen to stay in. Chapman was coming back from injury.

O'Driscoll was coming back, O'Meara was also seeing wing time from memory.

Banfield was preferred as the utility player.

Then by the time this season started Worner had moved past him in the depth chart as well (as far as the coaches were concerned at that stage).

He lost his regular selection spot to Wagner who has improved to the point of being best 22 selected.

Now with Cooper Simpson being developed at half back, Aish finds himself way down the depth list. I think he still has a role at AFL level but that might be at club number four unless he is willing to just wait in the WAFL as depth.

Big fan of his too.
Was a decent wing/mid option in 2022.. then 2023 he was pushed back to half back. He isn’t the fastest runner nor quick decision maker. Just doesn’t fit in one role and excel. He’s a great utility. Just doesn’t have an elite position.

Don't mind what he's done for dockers at all and I'm sure he'd give a good show of himself if selected again but as others have said, other players have gone past him.

If he was on 99 games at end of the year I'd keep, but he's over the 100, so put him out to stud.

I see him a bit like MacDonald in that he could still produce, but the positions he plays are not needing depth.

Aish has played some really great games for us. He came across and was willing to be utilised wherever the team needed him to play.

He fitted in well with the club and we have appreciated everything he has done for us. He’s a little champ.
