95 points I say we were pretty farking horrendous performance like today shouldn't be accepted
This wasn't a game against Carlton though. The defence was basically a bunch of kids and players outsized by 20cm. Kind of similar up forward. The first half was pretty good and then the game got away from them.

Because I know it kills you.
Go to a game for once in your life.
Sitting around a table chanting “ kanga kanga kanga, Roo Roo Roo “ does not count lad.
I've been to many games in my life. Including victorious finals. Ever been to one of those? LOL!

What else you got?

I though the first half was more of the same.

It's the effort I'm upset about tackling and pressuring the opposition doesn't require talent

Yeah I wouldn't get too carried away
Nice to put foot on throat but they had no backline

The inexperienced and depleted Bombers weren't that bad. Yes they were scrappy with the ball and got overran as the game went on, but what did people expect? Geelong have the forward line to punish teams that are up against it.

I would expect effort at a minimum

Yep. O'Connor patrolled and rebounded between the arcs with authority. He's using his running power offensively much more since Tuohy retired.

Mullin struggled a bit on Merrett at times.
Cheers. It's a bugger to tell how a player played looking at the stats on the site, but MOC seems to get plenty of the ball. Suppose Mullin is still learning the position, but he never looks not busy when I see the Cats play.

Still amazed the guy who clonked MOC last week in the head wasn't reported.

Mullin was actually pretty good, he had one shocking kick but several really nice laser like hits as well. He is definitely improving and does some pretty positive things on field

With so many taller, stronger and experienced bodies missing from side you guys are forced (instructed?) not to kick to contests which ultimately results in turn-over after turn-over. Personally, I don't agree with the strategy, especially for the amount of times that it's done as you guys are far to inexperienced and nowhere near as skilled to do it. Best to keep it simple with far, far less turnovers.

Thanks for that. I noted him missing a bad set shot last week & thought he should have made it easily considering kicking the round ball straight and square is bread and better stuff for the Irish players, but it was at a slight angle and in front of a large crowd, so easier said than done. Is there any players you & Mr Meow could recommend watching that plays a role similar to Mullin?

Seen Cillian Burke scored his first goal for the VFL team - not a bad one for your 1st goal.
